Ok here goes, We need an extra slot on our subs for a special weapon. We could have 10-12 special weapons in the merchant. You could buy all of them but only equip one at a time. Like your battery it would cost energy cells to use and also like your battery it would take time to recharge. I have a few ideas for these special weapons but need help to come up with a full 10-12 weapons. My ideas are as follows:
1) Sniper Tor**** ( a Ice tor**** that can be fired from 20 clicks away)
2) Map Pinger ( ping map once to see all subs logged on for split second)
3) Mega Ice Depth Charge ( a powerful Depth charge that will freeze anyone within 10 clicks)
4) Ink Cloud ( when used it blacks out the sonar map and game screen of anyone in the area)
5) Juggernaut Guns ( Get 30 seconds of 150% hit power)
6) Safe Zone EMP ( Fire on a Base to disable Safe Zone for short period of time, base huggers nightmare!)
7) Clone Cloaking ( Activate and Click another sub, your sub will now appear as a replica on player list and game screen of the sub you clicked, will last until sunk)
8) NOS (Increase speed by 150%)

I need help coming up with other weapons. I think a special weapon system like this would diversify the game greatly in an awesome way! Think about a group of hunters each sub running their preferred gear. You would never know what you were up against. It just sounds fun what do you all think?

Awesome! lol I'm glad at least 1 of you "high-level" players have come to the forums! :)
Maybe have a Tor**** Blocker? You know for when you have almost made your escape but you need to block that last tor**** hehe Not like a decoy but it actually keeps 1 tor**** from hitting you.

These are interesting.
I could suggest an expansion on a clone idea. An actual Decoy that shows up on the Sonar/Player list but doesn't actually exist. This decoy would make a single ship appear to have "help" or a possible "easier" target. User designated name and level.

Always wanted the ability to "jump back" from the BZ to the base where I started. Go back to Piod for a Naut, Ulmy for a Scion, Krid for a Jaf and then activate a once a day button (purchased in the Merchant for helix and which uses a very modest amount of energy cells, certainly less than what the Turbine Booster uses) that returns you to the point of your initial jump.
This would be different from the Turbine Booster, since it's a jump back that only works if you jumped in (as opposed to driving in through the Bottle Neck), and unlike the Booster, you could only use it once each day.

You would get these weapons at the Merchant just like you get your sentry guns and batteries. I for one would have to collect them all ...ya know just in case :) And by the way these are all good ideas keep them coming!

I really like these ideas, but I have a problem with some of them. You see, there are people who still isn't full event yet. If one day, they finally reached their goal as full event and they worked so hard on getting those items, what would happen if there was new weapons the day after they reached full event? They wouldn't be happy because they waste their helix for something else and they didn't see that coming. If they had their own way of making money, then it won't be no problem, but if they worked so hard on getting event items and new special weapons came in right after, i don't think they are going to like. I'm not saying that your ideas aren't good, is just that players are working so hard getting strong like us and this will put more pressure on them. If someone has an idea of helping these players getting a few of those new items, then that would encourage them to continue playing the game. Because we need more players to fight with. But i really do like your ideas. Very creative to make the action even BETTER!!! :D

this sounds good I mean this could really help the newer player/s and or out players i really think this would help old the game the partys would be really fun with the new stuff BigPiont i think you should consider this change

@Astral Blast I see your point, players already feel that way about the PVP equipment. So on that subject why dont we dedicate one or two of the *specials to helping newer guys out. Players should be able to purchase these at any point in their sub building. So Instead of getting say a turbine they buy the NOS special and when attacked they fly off the screen. The game is always going to come down to who spends helix and who doesn't. Many in my Clan pick float for helix or shoot fish. I do see people getting upset over having "more" things to buy but by the same token there are alot of us that are getting bored. We are full event. Alot are already lvl 180. And 1V1's now come down to whoever fires first as there is no longer a lvl factor in your hit power. I agree we need more players to shoot. But if it means loosing high lvls to boredom then we lose either way. We BP should cater to both of them.

Lots of really cool ideas here. Best I have seen is the idea about having an "ink cloud" feature. Could be sold for cel at a hefty cel price. Could then be used by aggressors or defenders. Hide from attack or hide in there to ambush others. Might be cool if it stayed in the water and blacked out the area it was used in for maybe 2 minutes.:)

Ok, cool! But it would need a counter measure. Perhaps a "ghost image" decloaker feature that allows you to see fake images for a few moments. For a price of course, always for a price.

I like that idea if ur in the b there would be a 0% chance of anyone getting away
A charge or tor**** you fire at an enemy and it chums their sub. NPC's are attracted to it and come from everywhere to fire unprovoked on the victim. (not my idea, it comes from TEN).

lol they are intresting ideas... problem is wont that help higher level players sink lower level ones faster and more? like the EMP one, a war group could go to a base with alot of people on it and massacre them... thats just one example...

I know you are not a merchant or a low level player when you suggested safe zone EMP, coz some of us LIVE by hugging the bases when there are too many high level fish or high level players hanging around. The safe zone is pretty much our only protection.
Get rid of that and most non-elite players are pretty much done for, even if it is temporary.

Real world submarines have been able to launch missiles from underwater for decades, so why it isn't in the game I have no idea. It does the same thing as the sniper tor****, hitting targets from miles away. The good ones will be bought with Helix and not so good ones bought with Cel. I originally had 2 ideas for tracking. One would be paired with the map pinger. A button near the map pan or scroll would activate the missile and clicking on the map would send the missile there. If the target is moving then aim ahead of it. If it stops or turns? Bad luck. The other idea is just clicking on the name tag and firing.

Everyone is assuming that this is a REAL submarine game.
News flash... it isn't!!!
If you pretend that what you are playing is a 2D aircraft game, you will be much, much closer to the mark.
Example: Sonic cannons = machiine guns, tor****es = air to air missles etc.
You starting to get the idea yet??

now what if we try a cloaking set up. to me a cloak would give the advantage to the aggressor or to the sub capt. tryin to get to a base undeteced. it could work till you are attacked only by a player and not by any fish unless we go by a boss fish. it is something to think about to add to the great ideas that we have right now.
