Streuner Quests

Hi All,

Noob question but im admitting defeat, any tips on completing the timed Steuners Quests in x-8 maps would be appreciated.

I can never find anywhere near enough of the little bleeders in the time allotted.

What am I doing wrong ??

One helpful way to do this is to 'farm' the streuners. Before you start, fly through the map and collect as many of them as you can on you. This can make it much easier, as you get a nice little boost to start.

Another tip is to have a friend or two help you out by doing the same thing. While you are shooting they fly around and collect a few. Once you finish up with your current mob, you fly to their position and start taking them out. Maybe blast them all once to start so they stay on you, freeing you friend to start collecting them again.

My third tip is more expensive. Use x2 (or x3/x4) ammunition, which will reduce the time spent on each kill.

Oh, and make sure you are running with at least a few speed engines in your configurations while traveling. A few seconds saved or here and there really add up in the end.

Also:
Don't try to collect cargo unless you've got a few streuners waiting.
While shooting at one, circle wide and try to find your next target.

I've been in 1-8 for nearly an hour box collecting and only found 20 or so streuners - when I can spot where they respawn it's always on the other side of the map. I wonder if DO can increase the number of StreuneRs like they're possibly going to do with the BK's.

Like you I've given up doing these timed quests at the moment.

ive done my streuner quest fast since my clanmates helping me at first i didnt make it even i have collected lots of them im running still of time..so they help to collect streuners and sit with them..others on some side too..so when im done on my collected strueners..d streuners they got be mine too..just asked someone with u..since just few streuners r in x-8 maps and what bad others killin too..mostly timed quest needs someone with u to be faster and successful..

I still can not do the quest no enough streuners. Please that DARKORBIT or BIGPOINT reintegrate the amount of streuners ans other aliens ships or put more in the system.
