Events - official Annoucnements

Hi,

In reading through many postings, I think there needs to be some changes in regarding these so called events.

For one, all the mods state to look under the annoucements, however, we do not see when an "upgrade hour" happens, nor do we get any indication of a "HH/MHH" but yet its been repeatedly stated its random and look for annoucements. Neither are the Zeus / APIS / LF4 promos.

Personally, I think there should be an Official annoucement as all the mods state and just like your CTB, TDM and Spaceball, invasion gate, etc... events are posted, these should be posted as well....or give a general idea as to when it should happen. I know this is not you (you being voluntary mods) making this decision but this should be pasted on because I`m sure this will boost the sales when people have an idea when something is coming. Many people miss out and continue to do so because of time zone differences and / or other obligations so this is a win / win for everyone.

I've always checked the annoucements and in the yr and half i've been here, they've nevered had it annouced. Only things like summer games and your CTB events...

They dont have the power to know when MMH, HH, or Upgrade hour is going to happen. You cant blame the moderators for people not being on when the happy hours are, they are simply the messengers from support. Support can make MHH/ HH or Upgrade hour when ever they want (1 A.M in the morning if they wanted to), but they try to make it so that people are on when they make it happen.

The only way that i have been able to tell if MHH is going to be today or not, is by checking any of the European servers for the Elite Ammo symbol, if that is on, MHH/HH is on its way.

I fully agree with Cooljak.I believe that it would spam the events as in a week there are more than 4 of them.Some players that are not checking the forum often might miss some important events like Summer Games or Invasion gate due to the MHH/HHs. just saying...

To my knowledge, we have not stated to look for these types of events under the Official Announcements, since you are correct - they do not appear in that section. They are advertised by pop-ups on the HOME page, and in the case of a MHH (and I think an Upgrade Hour) by messages on the Spacemap.

The events released in the Official Announcements are game events, whereas the others are for personal gain when building your account.

If you have any knowledge of this being posted otherwise, could you please provide a link/s?

With regards to your suggestion, you would need to raise this in the Update/Idea section.

No they are not posted anywhere and for everyone else, I do know its not the mod's fault. Just stating support should give a better idea to them on an estimate as to day rather than time....

However I do know about checking eurpean servers for elite ammo for mhh and apis / zeus....

If I may add before closing. The happy hour and other bonuses are exactly that BONUSES. they are random and will never be announced in advance.
I think everybody knows now that MHH is always on a Saturday OR Sunday Night and will start between 6 and 8 pm server time however it could go back to being completely random as it always used to be, either way it is not posted as it is a bonus event.

Event announcements are for things like spaceball and invasion so that those really who want to play and take part can do so and those that want to avoid certain maps or just not play due to whatever reason can make other plans.
