Where to put lasers ?

]I have a leo in my other hanger, and i am not sure to put my lf4's in my ship or in my drones ? I have level 16 drones and i thought i should put them there but then people told me lf4's will do 400 damage on ship so I'm not sure....Any help ?

If you're in a leo in lowers maps put your lf4's on your ship, since it doubles due to the advantage, put 6 on ship its like having 12 instead

if your sticking to lowers....each lf4 laser on your ship will do double damage!

this means 400 damage (as people have been telling you)

so put as many lf4 as you can on ship and if you have any left over just put them on drones! (:

6LF4 on ship 18 on drones on your battle

6 shields on ship 2 on drones if you have apis and zeus

don't forget you also get bio damage boost + any damage booster % added on top of basic leo's double damage

above config will give you 300 k + shield and damage that will be enough to kill most golis with ease

if using moth disregard my advice on shields

build some precision targeters,when used with PLT 3030 they are edge that you have over any foolish goli pilot that stands and fight

PLT 3030 + rsb +hellstorms +insta+smb+ emp= boom boom goli in two/three shots

Nice configurations. I am going to try those out this week for sure. I always enjoyed my Leonov but that was back a couple years, before the "new" Leo.

I got a second hanger and put a Leo in it but didn't fare too well, always wondered what I was doing wrong because I've been smoked by a few FE Leo's and never did seem to be able to figure it out why I couldn't achieve the same performance.

Okay thanks for your answers.... so can someone calculate my damage ? I got 8 LF4's,all lf3's ( level 1),i got an apis ( level 1) 8 irises( level 16)... i put my lf4's in ship ( leonov)

Don't have time to calculate precise damage and it is very hot so i'll give you rough estimates

Between 40/50 k lasers if using damage boosters,i was hitting 45 k long before upgrades or lf 4 with my leo

Plt 3030 20 +k

ecco same damage as in goli (depends on updates to launcher)
hellstorm 25 k

using all bells and whistles you can outgun goli that is not 35 Lf4 very very easy

my advice would be to get heart formation for that extra hp

with 9 drones you can use 6 shields on your battle and 2 on drones
16 lasers on drones and 6 on ship will give you greater damage that fe goli ,boosters add to that ,emp/insta and you can go toe to toe even with full 35 lf4 goli that uses moth

using leo is all about tactics now ,go in all guns blazing and press repair soon afterwards

think a little bit and you are on your way to easy ship kills

To get any true calculations on your damage, you would also need to list all features which may apply (Boosters, materials, Pilot BIO, Formation, Drone Designs, Upgrades, etc).

If you just want the answer, list all of your current equipment in detail, and we can figure that out for you. If you would rather learn how to find out for yourself, the Laser Damage Charts may assist.

As stated by many above, I can verify that lasers placed on your ship will do more damage than on your drones, when in a Leonov in the 'lower' maps.
