Goliath or citadel?

Looking to get one or the other and I'm not sure which way I should be leaning. If I get the Goliath I would most likely get a spearhead as well but if I got the citadel I would probably turn it into an fe tank like thing any input is welcome and appreciated

firstly... eliminate the spearhead unless all you do is *cough* box all day

Citadel is great for outfits - but it has the power of a nostromo.. and its slower than a BB

Goliath is a great all around ship - so you if you really want to have both i would suggest getting a hangar slot and do that..

Dude, he said he was fe. A fe citadel would be 440 speed, higher than MOST of the ships...

Goliath, in my experience I'm yet to meet a citadel I can't take, or out run with ease. Citadels may be tanks, but they are slow, and easy to conquer.

Yep citadel if you npc and goili if you hunt, quite straight forward.

Citadels cant beat golis, 1 they slower, 2 they weaker, im not full havoc and i beat a FH citadel in 4-1 solo. i dont even have fats yet, and i beat citadels.

I think the citadel is perfect for gates because of its defense. I will stick with my goliath.

I wrote this same exact thing on another thread before, but I'll do it again.....

Having a Citadel is basically asking your enemies "PLEASE PLEASE POP ME! I GIVE MORE EXP THAN 5 GOLIS!!!!!".

I'd rather suggest getting a Goli, or if you want to be really protective, get an Aegis. It's basically a goli with more HP and a little bit less firepower, but it's abilities make up for it completely and makes you really hard to pop.

If you think about it, why get a really slow URI-ONLY ship that can hold it's own for a very short amount of time when you can bid on the best all-around ship(Goli) or buy the next best thing to it that heals you!?(Aegis) Not to mention another hangar so you can have BOTH of them for less than the price of 1 citadel!
