then i would say get shields and iris' because in a leo 6 lasers, rockets, and a hellstorm launcher shooting eco's is enough to kill any alien in the lowers.

a crab drone config is a great investment for killing aliens since if you are using all bo2's your shields take all the damage. shields recharge faster than hp reps, and even recharges while on the move. my shields usually recharge when i grab a couple bonus boxes between aliens i just fly around for hours shooting aliens with zero repair time.

in lowerz leo rockz !! if you lose it a big boy fully loaded is still a tough lil nut. i would perfer a bb in upperz but is still a coin toss. good luck and alwayz have fun with this game... were lucky to have so many willing to help out when some one askz a ???

Thankyou to everyone for your suggestions so far.

Personally, I would have to suggest either a Leonov or a Piranha, depending on your preferences. The Bigboy certainly has the advantage of being able to mount the same shieldpower as a Goliath, however you will not be able to take advantage of this until you are basically fully equipped (and by that point, you should probably be considering using a stronger ship anyway).

I would also recommend spending Uridium on speed/shields/drones/lasers (in that order).

Woah Woah, wait a minute. Bo2 Bids are insanely high, I've lost a 75 Mil bid on it before, so you should spend your Uridium to get them and Bid on LF3

Speed is the critical factor when starting up, since your only hope is to make it to a port before being shot in the first place. And depending on which particular NPCs you are dealing with, sometimes the extra laser or two makes no difference to the number of shots needed to kill them - so, I would add some extra shields.

Everyone's style is different - it is up to the OP to decide.

One more question you guys all talked about getting shields first and i alrady have 6 b02 in the shield slots. Do i put some shields into my drones(first configuration) or lf3? Or in my second confihuration for running away?

Oh well, basically, from my experience, it's better to use a hit config and a run config.

So, in the hit config you will have the b02s in the ship, and lasers on drones.This will make your ship slow anyway lol.

And run config you will have your b02s on the drones, and all speed gens on the ship.
