Hello all,

Been playing for a few years now on USA East. Started playing to relax and quickly grew addicted like most of you. Love the game, love the players, even the ones I hate

Lately the game is getting a bit out of control. I don't mind losing fair fights but there are more people doing, how can I say it, questionable activities that I would like...

Many players from my clan and others in the server have started to cut back on the URI purchases. This is not in the hope to hurt Dark Orbit but rather to punctuate our annoyance at the level of cheating.

I'm going to start this thread as an inspiration to others and hopefully DO to help us get back to having fun.

I will be posting what I do with my URI money every week rather than spend it in DO. Hope to be back to buying URI soon but for now I'm a free player until DO cleans up the cheaters.

May 25th weekend : Will be spending my usual $100 DO URI weekend donation on a BBQ with the Family and friends.

Cheers,

Mac

You may have done it to not hurt DO but I did. They do us wrong with al the cheaters that they let play and act as if they dont know. So I'll stop playing and paying.

I actually think that if enough people do it, they will make it a priority. I don't want to hurt the game, just get them to pay attention so we can go back to having fun with it.

Until they make it priority, it will continue to get worse. Players are out of control now and are not even trying to be subtle cause they know they can get away with it.

Nice to meet you BigMac
I see you in out TS but rarely do we speak.

I agree with what you are saying, however, DO doesn't care. They have made that abundantly clear.

I too have cut back because of the ''3rd party software.''
Its a shame DO's powers that be decided to go down the wrong road but the road I chose (as does many players) does not include spending money on DO.

Hope you had a good BBQ

I have stopped paying to play as well Mac. I have grown sick of, as Tina so eloquently put it, 3rd party software used so commonly in this game.
I just had a large feed of lobster this weekend past thanks to the no Uri for DO fund -
DO is a business that put out a product for working people to pay to play. Then in my opinion they put out a special product for the students, part time workers to buy to play the game.
Although I am not an accountant or a numbers guy, I will say that $100 spent by 10,000 players is a nice chunk of change for a MHH where everything is virtual. But $10 spent by 4-5 million players or more beats it by far -

On this past weekend, I would have "normally" spent $59.00 on the Sunday Mega. This time I purchased a video box set instead. The week before that, new seat covers for my truck. Amazing what that extra $60 Bux will get you

I agree, the cheaters have to go!

Regards,

All,

Nice to see other folks agree. Last weekend I donated my $100 to a nice BBQ budget. This weekend I plan on spending it on a nice Massage/lunch.

Hope other folks are doing the same...

For now I'll keep watching to see if DO cleans up their act to come back but playing a different game in the mean time... So far all I have to say WOW it's a good game...

Cheers,

BigMac

Very nice. Hopefully when enough of us do this they will start doing something about the cheaters... Cheers.
