The Basics

Where can I find the Tech Centre?

The tech centre is available to everyone in the Skylab tab:

How many techs can you produce?

At first it is just one, but you can open up to 3 production slots at the cost of 50,000 uridium for the 2nd slot and 100,000 uridium for the 3rd. Each Tech can be created multiple times and they will now stack on the slot.

What do I need to produce each tech?

This is shown for each individual tech on screen and later in the FAQ. However they will cost a combination of Credits, Seprom and Log Disks. To produce them instantly a uridium fee will be required.

Where are the finished techs?

They will be displayed in the Tech Centre tab on the Space Map as shown later in this FAQ.

Can I use several techs at one time or combine them?

You can use up to 3 different techs simultaneously to get the most out of your ship. You can only use one of the same kind of tech at the same time. Each tech has a cool down period before it can be used again.

Each tech is a "one time only use" item. This means that they will need to be made again to use them again. The cooldown time refers to the time that a tech of the same type can be used again.

How to Produce each tech

Each tech has the costs shown previously, if you are able to produce it, all of the values will be shown in green for you. If not they will be red.

You can click either “Produce Instantly”, which will take uridium or produce the tech straight away; or “Produce” which will take the allotted time to produce that tech.

The techs in production will be shown on the right hand side with either the time remaining to produce it, or when it is available for you it will say “Ready”.

Ready techs will be available for use automatically on the Space Map.

Multiple techs of the same kind can be made and will stack as shown in above picture.

You can also delete techs you do not want, they will not return the seprom, credits or log files however. To do this click the one in the Production column you wish to remove. Then click Delete Tech.
