Game crashing browser

Hi is any one else having this problem .

when jumping from 3 1 to 3 2 , about 1 in 10 times the game crashes the internet browser .

I use firefox .

Hi m8,

Yes i have had this problem and i dont know what the deal is with firefox. THis is not the games fault, its the browser, however i do wish that whatever on Dark orbit is causing it would be fixed.

has now happenned twice in a row now and this what fire fox says about it . I do know that the x1 maps are on a different server to the other maps , so maybe it is the switch between severs .

Well, this is embarrassing.


Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page.

You can try:


* Removing one or more tabs that you think may be causing the problem

* Starting an entirely new browsing session

Daruis , yes but as it is normally inter mitent it is difficult to say when it will occur .

Firefox is far better for playing the game then IE , have a lot less cache issues for some reason .

But as mithman says it is more then likely the browser at fault . I was just curuios if other people were having the same issue . and it only ever occurs between the x1 and x2 map .

the cache etc has been cleared daily and flash is optimised when starting to play .

Have you tied updating your firefox.

As current version is 3.5.4

and new version 3.6 is due out soon but still in beta stages..


also you might want to try uninstalling firefox and using ccleaner to clear anything that firefox leaves behind.

Next reinstall firefox and also get the latest updated flash/shockwave and java install on it.

Close down firefox and restart

Hi rooster12,

This is not a big problem. Try to uninstall flash n then firefox. Afterwards , reinstal both of em. If this dont work, it indicates ur processor isnt working up fine with Mozilla. Also x-1 n x-2 map portal , takes some time , n may b ur internet connection fails when u jump.
It has many possibilities, but u cant fight against d internet speed at last.

So make sure u have a good RAM, good Processor( prefer dual core n above) n internet connection over 256kbps to avoid this crashing in future.
Anything that i can find out more will b posted to help u out in better way.

4mb ram quad core and over 7mbps on internet , will try all the above and see how it goes cheers for the advice guys

iv had the same problem, iv found that having something else running that is using your flash player eg chatrooms that are not part of d.o, other game running or even music on your pc, having more then 1 thing using flash player can crash your browers
