This are the official game rules for Dark-Orbit ( EN/US servers )

Rules

1. Bug using
It is forbidden to use bugs and/or other mistakes in the programming for your own personal gain. Bugs which are discovered should be reported as quickly as possible by contacting support via your links on the backpage.

2. Pushing
A player may not willingly allow another player to destroy his ship in order to get the points and achieve a better position in the rankings.

Should this type of behavior be discovered in the accounts, disciplinary action will be taken. Depending on the gravity of the situation, this can lead to an indefinite account block.

3. Real-life threats
Real-life extortion or threats will be rigorously pursued and wil lead to an immediate discharge from one or all games and areas of Bigpoint GmbH. All entries with a clear intention of finding other people and players in order to cause harm to them or a related third-party will be treated as a real-life threat as soon as they show up in the in game news system or as a forum entry

4. Insults and spam
Insults and spam are forbidden in every available form.

5. Breaking the rules above
Offenses against the rules above will lead, depending on the severity, to an account lockout of at least one day up to a complete disqualification and expulsion. The responsible contact person is the game operator authorized to perform the disqualification.

6. External programs and automation
External programs which influence the game as well as the automation of processes are not allowed.

7. Trading and Selling of Accounts.
The trading and selling of accounts on DarkOrbit is expressly forbidden. Users who are found attempting to sell/trade/buy an account will be removed from the game.

Users who have sold/traded/bought an account will receive no help from the support team, should errors occur.

8. Terms and Conditions
These rules are an extension of the valid Terms and Conditions and must be observed.

9. General

If there should be any irregularities with your account, please report them without delay by e-mail to your Support Team at the following link below:

There will be no compensation for existing bugs. Exception: if the respective administrator decides to do so. Such decisions, however, are made on an individual basis.
