If you want advice it's probably not a good idea to make light of someone's name. Not very respectful and it shows envy or jeaousy. Not good traits to display publicly...
Let's be clear that I did not spend the money on uri that others did and many think that I did... That's why I killed aliens... To bridge the gap on what I needed to play and what I spent. I did not waste ammo and I did not waste time. I am a frugal guy.
As far as how we were #1 at all... Patience and perseverance. We did not rush into things. The clan was a collection of adult players with goals. While some of the adults were less stable than others, we wanted to be the best and we were willing to LEARN how and work to get there- not just expect to wake up one day and be there.
If you look around in life you will see many people that knock others that are successful. Why? Mainly because those people are disenchanted and feel entitled to success; their motto being "I deserve it!". They are unwilling to work at anything because they are LAZY... We were not those kind of people AND I refuse to keep that kind of company around me. Our clan was willing to help one another- sacrificing something of themselves while doing so. Haters are unwilling and unable to sacrifice anything because they need immediate and constant gratification- the aura around them screams "NOTICE ME!!!".
If you want to reach the top you must picture it and plan for it. Our clan name was not an accident... It was a mission statement.
You must recruit people that want to be successful as a team- not as an individual... However it doesn't hurt if they can do both.
You must enjoy each others company. If there is tension between people- somebody's got to go. The one that makes all the threats and complains the most is the best candidate.
Is there more... Sure. Work on it and see how far this gets you.

I disagree stillwrong, had far to many kills on one clan under the ship name TooDamnGood and hardly died. They ran bad configs to pvp with. One clan used 2 speed configs. One with low shields to uncloak on opponents on and the other side to run away. From what I can remember one clan entered map of 1-3, killed any noob shooting aliens, left map. look for botters when few players are on the server- kill botters. post there k/d on forums. LF4's came out - one got waxed- one clan quits- goes WoW.

While entitled to an opinion- the facts are wrong... So sad...
