Can't add items to hotkey #5

I can't add any item to my #5 hotkey. This goes for laser and rocket ammo, cpus, mines and the drone formations.

I put the item i want right over the empty slot and drop it on it and it just goes away like i pulled it off.

Every other hotkey i can put what i want on it but not the number 5 one. This leaves me one hotkey short so i have to put what i normally put in the number 5 slot on another.

I have cleared my cache yes.

Posted on the 24th today is the 31st time for a bump and the problem got worst.

This is what i am talking about.

Cache cleared then flash and java was updated before this video.

Then i saw this post Hot keys mess up it appears bman916 is having the same problem has me plus some others of his own.

New problem! Now my hot keys arent always working...Having to click my ammo to use it......This is getting very annoying

sounds like his numlock is off/on. But that is not my problem.

Then i remembered there is a "reset" button for the ingame settings. I did that.

Nope made the problem worst.

So i cleared my cache again. Problem still remain and is worst then before.

Now the problem is i have 2 hotkeys i can not set. Hotkeys 5 and 6.


Browsers i tryed to use with same problem.

Chrome, Dragon, and Firefox.

I am not ignoring you issue, I am actually trying to resolve the Issue with another player as well.

He cannot get any of his to install.

Please know this is a priority for me to figure out, I am working on it..
I know it is frustrating... bur please be patient with me.

Was not saying you was ignoring the thread just got overlooked/pushed to the back pages by other posts. And reason why i quoted him he said he has 2 issues but one to me sounds like his "num lock" is on/off ask him to to hit it and see if that works.

And also to give me a quick link to go to, to look at that thread to see if a mod or you has fixed it and forgot to post on my thread.

Sorry for the late reply dear full_force, but it seems I am the only one answering lately so it does not help improving the response time as I am a bit on & off lately (summer time ).

First please let me know if you are still having this problem.

I tested it on my ships and all is working all fine.

Well at least its being looked into.

Yes i am still having it. Still across chrome, dragon, and firefox.

Maybe this will help find a solution to the problem.

Current chrome version is 21.0.1180.79. Updated a few days ago after a clearing of the cache.

After doing this i was able to add the hotkey 1 time but after i popped no more.

Have you tried an alternative browser?

It seems chrome 21 is giving issues with the game.

And you just finished your Sibelonits on your Alpha

I know with all that you have been through and all of the different browsers that you have attempted this hot key fix on, I would ask this...

In all of these attempts have you tried to set the resolution 1 setting lower and see if the hot keys would set then. My reason for asking is purely because I have another player who appears to be experiencing something similar, however when we lowered his resolution, his hot keys worked.

It seemed rather and odd and a bit frustrating.

I know it is not the fix we want, but maybe something you might consider trying and letting me know the outcome.
