Space Cup 2012

Doesn't the name Space Cup 2012 alone imply that there is to be some sort of trophy or 'cup' to be awarded to the winning company. I personally can't believe that a month long event which required so much time, money, work, uridium, and effort to actually win gives a reward of absolutely nothing. I know I pushed hard to encourage others to participate and I myself used a bunch of ammo and uridium to ensure a win for the MMO. Extra long hours on the game canceling plans so that I could be here instead and all along it was for nothing. I must say I'm very disappointed in the decision that this challenge, event, or whatever you would like to call it was all for nothing more than bragging rights and even that isn't worth it. There could at least be a title awarded such as "Space Cup Champ" or something. I can't remember a time when there was such an advertised, extensive event in which no reward was given to the winning company. I truly hope that others, especially those who participated and tried extra hard to win feel the same was as I do. I don't expect the world but I do expect something for being part of the winning company. I hope that D.O. hasn't become one of those things in life where there are no winner and no losers and everyone finishes in the same place and all the trophies are the same size. Those who excel and 'Win' should be recognized for their achievements.

I agree with Cujo also even though I am in EIC.
"To the victors go the spoils" is sadly becoming an extinct concept in an overly politically correct society. This is a war game...anything other than
1st place only means you are the 1st loser.
MMO played hard..they deserve something.

spending my day on the forum reading all the bp bashing that is going on with the price increases on gb servers and stupid invite your friend event and ran across this thread. cujo, if you expected something for your money you're playing the wrong game now. save your money till winter. then toss it in the fire place and watch it burn. you'll get more out of it. at least you'll be warm.
nothing was ever said about prizes. doesn't mean we didn't expect something for winning, but doesn't mean you get a prize either. mmo played hard, and spent the money to win. what do you get for your time and money? you get to complain that you got nothing for it as far as i can tell you should almost change your name to "Cujo_Space_Cup_Chump" with the way bp played you. then again, maybe all of us that participated should change our name to similar

but anyways if you all didnt see when spaceball came out we got x3 or x2 the honor and exp and if you didnt see the TDM and other stuff like the CTB we kinda got x2s the exp for a kill or something
