I do m8, and I will, even rabid, not that there was ever that many off us.
We did come on as a small clan group now and then, but the cheats were getting ridiculous, fly into 1-8 cloaked sit mid map and anything up to 6 red dots would magically appear on your mini-map.
No fun or skill in that, spoit it a bit, so no point anymore.
If you did have a fair fight (usually with one of 2 of the old school left), win or loose it would bring back the fun that used to be there, but as they disappear it got less and less, and now the forums are more amusing than the game.
got shot down twice , once in 5 2 , by someone i have never heard off . and once in 1 2 from a well known magic user . ,
mind you second one was my fault , shouldn't have tried , without rsb and boosters lol , and without sepped lasers , didn't last long .
but did have a nice chat with a few old players , until the two cough cough best clans in MMO started in chat , and then there was no one but them in it . spoiling it for everyone , and with their usual high level protection evident .
i wouldn't say waste your ammo just to get rid of it. you never know what the future might bring. i myself quit playing for over a year. i logged on monthly to keep my account active, and transfer sep when i remembered. with so few new players i just grind away in the lowers in my leo(makes my sep and ammo go further). when i get killed i just laugh to myself and think of how they could have gotten more ep from a lordakia with a lot less trouble for the few new players that try to hunt my leo is strong enough. honest solo hunters quickly realize that's too much ammo for just a leo(cloakers fly by me all the time) and magicians have already wasted too much ammo to stop shooting by the time they realize it's me. bp changed the game, so i changed the way i played. it's still not as fun as it once was, but what can you do? i don't think anyone could have predicted just how drastic the downturn would be, so who knows what will happen.
Find another game like i did and have fun.I too dont bother sepping up now and im not quite sure why i even bother keeping my acc active.it would take months to get rid of that ammo if you were just to use it in pvp as you would spend most of the time trying to find somebody to shoot.
lol grimnir, there is ships to shoot but they've been autoing for so long they have all the gear and what generally happens is you have to wait till they are mid map, use moth with assassin and hammer them all the way to port, and even with sep and double boosters and rsb if you have too many misses they make it out, so you get a few then a magic player appears from the same "best clan", and as your running moth and can't see them comming your in home base. Great fun!
But you'd get to use a lot of ammo Roost, for very little real reward.
I'm suprised already how many respected old-school players on this thread, just shows to me what has happened to this once wonderful game.
