But we don't all sit at portals all day long. Circle an NPC, even close to a portal and even if you are quick enough to hit your insta-shield in the 2.5 seconds it takes you to die, there's no way you're going to make it.

Even an EMP added in won't last long enough to let you get away most times.
And to be honest a 500 uri escape tactic isn't something everyone has a limitless supply of unless they're already big spenders.

If you ever find yourself in the middle of a map, or even a quarter of the way across, there's not even any point in running. You're dead before you can blink.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is welcome to park away from portal, taunt QDL4 and prove me wrong.

I goto agree with you and dont forget you cant use emp near port and alot of times before you can even use an insta u r poped takes some players under 1 sec to pop others and owning peeps come play gb1 again and fight certain players you would get owned when they use a vengi thats hitting over 300k then see .

its not the damage. Its the cost, all these new items and free player have no chance to keep up.

I find it fun now to do galaxy gates and boxing, and i remember days when i was in battle maps most of the times years ago.

At the end its a game enjoy if you can and if you cant then move on and stop crying over forums, you all agreed T&Cs so move on.

I wish people would not worry about damage or shields or anything. Once you don't care and your here for the right reasons (clans and friends), then you start to not care about damage or shields. I find ways to entertain myself on this game. I am probably the only one on my server who will buy a phoenix and go raiding. To me, that's a way to go have fun and mess around. Sure, I will die a lot but I'm not going to complain. I think if people would just take a step back, learn to have fun, and lose the pessimistic attitudes they have, they would have a blast just messing around on the game.

The number of players in GB1 says it all. Many player have just had enough and DO doesn't seem to be listening.

One of the top players on our servers claims to be able to hit 350k damage on his first volley.

LF4's, boosters, shared boosters, bio, havocs, design bonus, and seprom and that's about 17,300 dmg with x1 alone. Which translates to 103,800 damage with RSB. (Some people think RSB is x5 but the devs have confirmed many times that it is in fact x6 ammo).

Now throw in a Smart bomb, UBR's, Hellstorms and add in the extra damage from a level 15 Pet and you can see how the damage can add up quick.
This isn't even counting the damage bonus from certain drone formations, which can significantly add to your damage count.

2. I soloed a cube about a year ago, long before any of this new stuff came out.
I was single boosted and promied and did it with SAB and a combination of whites and greens. Ended up with very little HP left and no shields lol.
I had 2 clan members watching out for enemies who can back up this claim.

yeah a year ago a solo cube was very possible. I did it with x3 and sab with only 26 bio and yeah whole clan watched. they again watched as i tryed it and failed with x2 not bad for a level 17 at the time. now lvl 19 many lf4 and up grades and i still hit less then 100 k no boosters so cant help but wonder is 350 k hits legit? would love to hear from cm or support including undestandable math on why it is possible

350k on the first hit should not be possible unless the nme had double hp the pet / kami would not make any difference to the first shot.

you get 20% from the smb so the amount of damage it dose depend on the other ship hp
max hp for a goli = 612
so if you set of a smb on a goli with double hp = 122.4k

Damage x4 = 77,460
Damage RSB = 116,190
3030 = 4000
+ sep 60% = 6400

This seem to be firing around 26k for some reason atm.

So with out sbm it should be about 226k

Then you need to adjust for the drone formation which isn't going to make that much difference on the first shot

So a first strike of 350k is possible with an smb against a double hp goli if all ammo hit at 100% and all adds in the first damage count.

But it should be a rare event not the norm and only if the the nme has double hp.

As a free player I agree with what has been said about the dmg and more so the costs of this game and the way BP are dumping expensive updates into the game. How many of the football ships you guy's seen around, I've seen three on 5 servers, oh yes sorry, they had to "PAY" to get them, I don't mind getting killed so much, what gets my goat is that there's a 99% chance that that guy/girl could only do it because what it has was achieved by cheating.

I have an (old)fe ship MMO on gb1 (side note) sry to hear what they did to the fly by, I don't play it any more as it's just a waste of time, seems like the "cheaters" have taken over the server.

I've been around over a year too and I can remember my Leo tugging flax's with 9 lf3's could take on a goli if he came into my home map, now I have nothing smaller than a Vengi and 8 iris's full lf3's and bo2's, the server I'm playing at the moment its a fully equiped Goli, I don't have bio, but I'm working my A/B/G gates for the uri to buy the log discs (when they eventually open up...lol)

Put the drone formations in trade so us free players can get them if we're willing to save our uploaded creds long enough to stand a chance, so not only the cheaters and WW's have them. (sky lab lvl 20

Come to think of it, I wonder how many of those havocs and lf4"s flying around were actually "paid" for??

not to cheaters reading this: A cheater will always be cheated in some way, so next time you ask your girlfriend/ wife what she did today and she says she was in town, but couldn't find anything she liked, she was with that guy she met on the last girls night out...:P

I'm with you Pecanin and I urge all honest payers to do the same.. I bought 0 uri this year...
