Default Help for newbies: Ship trouble: This or That?

I have been seeing alot of questions both in-game and on the forums about "What ship should I use?" Well this will answer some of your questions, I will list the different ships and their uses. From red to green, the ship's names will be colored by how good they are.

Phoenix
The cannonfodder of Dark Orbit, expect to die alot in one of these.
Good for: Boxing, collecting ore

Liberator
The next strongest ship up from the Phoenix, but still very easily destroyed.
Good for: Boxing, collecting ore, killing weak aliens like lordakia, saimons, and mordons

Pirahna
The next step from the Liberator, considering most people hit in the 100k's now this ship is still easily destroyed, but is much better.
Good for: Boxing, killing mixes of aliens such as lordakia, saimons, mordons, and devolariums

Bigboy
The second slowest ship in the game, it has high shields but suffers from low speed and firepower. For being a credit ship it has wealth of hitpoints, but still useless in PvP fights.
Good for: killing mixes of aliens such as mordons, devolariums, and sibelons

Leonov
The cheapest of the three commonly used uridium ships, this ship is a good all-rounder in lower maps but extremely weak in upper maps.
Good for: boxing, killing mixes of aliens such as lordakia, saimons, mordons, devolariums, and sibelons.

Vengeance
The penultimate uridium ship commonly used, the Vengeance is an excellent all-rounder. While slightly weaker than a Leonov in lower maps, it is an excellent ship in upper maps.
Good for: boxing, killing mixes of aliens such as saimons, mordons, devolariums, sibelons, and lordakiums

Goliath
The ultimate uridium ship of the commonly used three, the Goliath is excellent in all maps and only suffers from low speed.
Good for: boxing, killing mixes of aliens such as saimons, mordons, devolariums, sibelons, lordakiums, sibelonites, kristallins, kristallons, protegites. and occasionally the Goliath is extremely tough, a Cubikon

I will list the 3 other ships here for the few people who can afford them.

Spearhead
One of the three skill ships, the Spearhead is excellent at killing weaker aliens and running away easily.
Good at: boxing, killing mixes of aliens such as lordakias, saimons, mordons, and devolariums

Aegis
One of the three skill ships, the Aegis is excellent at support capabilities with the ability to quickly repair the HP and shields of both itself and others.
Good at: killing mixes of aliens such as sibelonites, lordakiums, kristallins, kristallons, protegites, and if the Aegis is strong, Cubikons

Citadel
One of the three skill ships, the Citadel is the tank of the outfit. With massive HP and shields, it is hard to destroy a properly equipped Citadel. It suffers from low firepower and the lowest speed of all ships, though.
Good at: killing certain aliens such as Mordons, Devolariums, Sibelons, Lordakiums, Kristallons and if equipped with good shields and weapons, Cubikons

Depending on how you play, select a certain ship out of these. Remember that if you would do well with more than one ship, the best thing to do is get a secondary hangar. It is worth-while. Got a good ship but have trouble surviving? Get a few Pilot Points for your Pilot Bio. Still getting popped fast? Remember if you are dying alot use multiple shield configs, or have a shield config and when you are being gunned down by an enemy with low HP and high damage, you might want a few weapons of your own to destroy him. Hope this helps the few newbies who read the forums, or those guys looking to start productive alternate accounts.

This guide is not bad... but as again the 3 new ships are good in outfits, you may want to add that fact.

One problem I can find:
Leonov misspelt as Lenov
