I was hunting in 1-3 when suddenly it started lagging & 10 min later it says connection broken,I re connect I get-

Guys what's this, I try saving uri & i get this
No use emailing support,I never get a reply

i know how you feel
sometimes im in 2-4 and i lose connection and then its says you have been shot down by vru or mmo
i mean come on it is hard to save uri
i dont even see any enemies then all of a sudden i get poped by them

Guys, it sounds impossible, but I fixed this with downloading latest (I believe version 10) flash player. Before this I have had so terrible lags, I could not play (lag each 10 minutes during spaceball games). Now I can not remember, when I have had server lag last time. Really big difference.

ye it happens to me alot dude, it says i lost connection to the server and when i can reconetc it says you have been shot down by player "" and once it went to far cause i had only 482 uri so almost lost me goliath, but thankfully i had 2 repair credits, very rare i have less than 500 cause i always make sure i have 500uri for repairs :) but the lag is taking my uri down alot, and caused me to fail Bday gate 3 times now :mad:

Dark Orbit cannot be held responsiable if you do not have the latest and upto date software and operating systems, millions of people login and log out of the Dark Orbit servers every second, right now they are doing there best.

They are allways promoting how they are open to sugesstions, if you feel they are not managing there servers properly or not providing the right information to fix the lag on peoples computers then tell them. Nothings going to be done if people won't tell them. Not everyone is perfect.

Although i don't suffer from lag on the Dark Orbit UK server, i allways make sure that i' am fully upto date and that they are no problems running on my desktop or in the background, antivirus and firewall protection can slow down your internet connection, try turning off any security software you have running.

i'm upto date with all the patches. DO does lag on the UK server. If it's a small lag then i maybe out of range of the other company ships. If it's a 3 second lag, that can cause very big problems. I know it lags because I'm on GSC when playing DO and do ask other people in the server if they just experienced the lag. We all usually do.

But Big Point always deny any lagging issues on the servers. A cop out really.

Try flash 9. I use that and dont lag very often at all. Did the a gate without lagging!

Support are away until today which is why some of you have not received replies to your emails. (they did post this advice prior to Xmas for you all to read).

The lag you are describing almost always results in your ship being shot by other players or aliens so, think about it that means that the other players are online and the aliens are still around so the game is still running.
It is YOUR connection that has failed not Darkorbits if it was the game then the others would not be around to shoot you.

As i stated previously, if it was just me, then other players won't be freezing at the same time. There is a lag issue, but DO just won't admit to it, or lag issues are not getting logged. Remember a lag doesn't disconnect you, just causes inconviences ie dying

Okay Piratelee I agree with you,
The fault was of my connection,

Now plz will you help me on this

10 min before server restart I locked on a big kriz,
then I started moving towards port,
but it showed a group of kriz attacking me,
no intention of fighting I fled but it showed my hp decreasing,
even when I came near the port my hp decreased,
and I died
