some parts off the forums , we as normal players can not access these include ,

technical questions unless the OP .
chat section , unless OP
FAQ sections ,
Official announcements .

these sections would display the message you saw if you tried to post in them
, as would attempting to answer a thread ,that may be closed or deleted .

As stated above, there are some areas that are off limits to the average player and they will give you the message you posted above. However, in my own experience as a player and even as an FM, there have been weird moments where I've attempted to do something I knew I had every right to do and it gave me that message. When this happens, I try again and it usually works.
