Glitching-locking configs

i've fought Palmatto-EIC 3 times today, and have been unable to change configs each time-never had that issue with ANY other player-easily able to do it during a fight with any other player-But Not Palmatto-once i'm in a config, it Locks Me into that config only-and he's using some form of glitch or hack to do it-only explaination-if it Only happens Fighting Him, it has to be a glitch or hack-and if you don't check him and eyeball this, you're complicit, folks-you approve of him, which makes this illegal, violates moral as well as etical rules, and creates inequity in the game-This is Supposed to be hack proof, yet particular people always seem to get away with it-What's Going On here!

There are several posts like this out there right now. At this time it does not look like any sort of cheat or hack, it appears to be just some sort of glitch. I have had it happen at random times throughout the day.

it is not just the config buttons ... all of the buttons and hot keys have been disaabled on me many times, it has caused me many deaths (every instance of locked buttons has ended in the destruction of my ship.. i have to restart my browser and sometime i get a java failure notice n have to update or re- install jave to fix it.. the external sites i have found a bit of info about this type of event all clain it to be a JAVA hack.. this type of event has also been reported on installed browser games like EU daemons & Zero..both games are java flash base like DO but they are not a true browser game like DO so they have a better security base to work with.

how to fix?? well first identify the exploit & then track the code to the root of the prob, fix the bad code.

but a effective way to limit this type of cheating / exploiting id to record and monitor key code chains like time vs damage vs ammo used on a attack. sort of compare the damage cause by the amount of ammo used to check -sum for errors and then proxy bann the users or these exploits.

might not be able to easily fix the prob but to catch and boot a offender is a easy thing to do
