Major Problem??

Ok im somewhat new and this troubled me .. Earlyer today everything got funky while i was hunting devos on 1-3 ... i kept getting kicked back to the middle of the map while trying to go to port and i died... this bothers me because 1 im low on uri and i have to pay for repairs and 2 the damage to my drones.... Whats the word on this problem?:mad:

That sounds like a connection problem. Could you please let me know on which server you are playing and where you are located.
Please also add your UserID#. the UserID# is a 5-7 digit number which can be found in the stats bar of your DarkOrbit page.

Im usuing the american server i guess ( english speaking map)
and i live in the states( FL)

I havent really had connection problems either.. it seemed wide spread like alot of MMO players where expierencing the same problem at the same time

Below, you will find a Step-By-Step tutorial, which should help you with problem solving.
The following steps will minimize the problem, and have been confirmed by multiple users.
First of all - the workload of the Flash Player should be minimized:
1. Right-Click anywhere on the Dark Orbit Map --> Settings --> Set the memory capacity to MAXIMUM
2. It is essential that the newest FlashPlayer version is always installed, as this minimizes or even eliminates problems.
The newest version of Flash can be found here:

3. About the Flash-Player and early problems:
If there is "no" response by your Flash-Player or a delayed response, the following problems may occur:
- Loss of connection during the game
- Enemy is "out of range" - and cannot be attacked, although it may appear as if the enemy is close.
- You have been shot down, due to a problem with the portal jump
In addition, programs such as:
- Background services
- Up- / Downloads
- Messenger (MSN, ICQ, Trillian, Teamspeak, etc.)
- etc.
Can slow down the reaction time of the Flash-Player.
These are some causes as to why you may experience problems with Flash.
Should you still have problems - please download the following plugin, which has been kindly provided by a user:

Another cause of many problems (white pages, pages not loading completely, features that are not working) can be your Browsercache. Below, you will find a Step-by-step tutorial on how to empty your cache:
For the IE6 - please use the following steps:
Extras --> Internet options... --> Delete Cookies (Confirm with YES/OK), then delete offline files (make the corresponding mark) and confirm with OK.

For the IE7 - please use the following steps:
Extras --> Internet options... --> Delete... --> Delete All (make the corresponding mark) and confirm with YES.

For the Firefox - please use the following steps:
Extras --> Settings... --> Privacy (Settings) --> Cache --> Delete Cache and confirm.
--> Cookies -->Delete Cookies and confirm.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Close your browser and restart it.

Hi Proetus

Thats really not the way I would put it. If the server runs ok and we dont have any reports of problems it is most likely that it was a local connection problem and we have nothing to do with that, sorry.
