Attention Space Pilots,Centuries ago, pirates called "The Reapers" waged a huge war for control of our galaxy and were pushed back to the outskirts of the known universe. We assumed they'd vanished forever, but we wrong! They've been lurking in the shadows ever since, slowly rebuilding their fleet and pillaging anything that dares stray into their part of the galaxy; stripping it of anything, and anyone, that was useful.

Aggressive and relentless, these pirates will stop at nothing short of galactic domination. With ships made from scrap metal salvaged from own defense fleets, they've perfected our own technologies and turned them against us, making themselves stronger than ever before. Living on the outer edges of the galaxy taught the Reapers the importance of sticking together: They work in packs, with ships of different and unknown capabilities.

In sector 4-5, what was previously thought to be a one-way wormhole, the Reapers are starting to mass their fleet! Hold them back before they can advance further into our space. This threat is going nowhere fast, and they're here to destroy us - one way or another! If we learned anything from the past, it's that they attack in waves. Prepare for the battle of a lifetime: This could be the start of a massive invasion!

Until now we've only been able to collect limited data on the Reapers' new ships.

Pull yourselves together, space pilots. Let's take to the fight to this new threat!

Space Pilots,

I'm afraid we failed to drive back the Reapers in sector 4-5. It turns out they're smarter than we thought. They figured out how to use our jump portals and now they're starting to infest the X-5 sectors. It's as if they're looking for something that we don't know about.

Man the battle stations and hold off the pirates as long as you can. In the meantime, we'll figure out a way to win back our territory!

Our efforts are failing !

The pirates have learned a trick or two since our last encounter, and have pushed through our defences and infiltrated sectors X-6 and X-7.

The Reapers are advancing too quickly and in their droves.

We need to act fast and find a new way to combat them ! Here's some helpful intel to help you in your fight: Bomber class: code name "Barracuda"

Produced in masses, the Barracuda is the Reapers' main line of defence thanks to its versatility in battle and effective performance.

Navigated by fearless fighters, Barracuda pilots have no problem giving their lives to serve the cause. When things get out of hand in battle and they see no way out, these kamikaze pilots will close in on their target and detonate special on-board explosives. Carelessness around the Barracuda will cost you your life.

Regain the upper hand and stop the Reapers before it's too late for us to undo the damage!

Our resistance has failed again. The Reapers have infiltrated our home bases in the X-8 sectors and are pushing forward at a rapid rate.

There's only one solution: Group up and exterminate this plague! Among the ranks of the Reapers we've discovered a new class:

Cruiser class: Code name "Saboteur"

The Saboteurs are quite possibly the most deadliest Reaper ships out there. They have special equipment to latch onto their prey and immobilize it. They then drag themselves in close making it impossible to damage them without damaging yourself.
Saboteurs may be the turning point in any battle, but you aren't completely helpless against them. We've determined a weakness: An EMP burst could disrupt their systems and set you free from their clutches.

Don't think you're out of the woods just yet. They'll learn from their mistakes, so only use this tactic when you truly must.

Join forces once more, pilots! Our survival depends on it!

Good work Space Pilots!

We have managed to push the interceptors back; the annihilators are covering their escape but there are only 10 of them in our X-8 sectors now. It looks as though there are in full retreat and their numbers are shrinking, keep up the great work Pilots!

Happy Hunting.

Hey Space Pilots,

Fantastic news, it seems that the PET was just the edge that we needed to get one over on the Reapers. They have pulled out of our maps even more; there are only a few lingering craft left. Keep up the great work.
