Chat banning; Over doing it

All of my friends and I myself have been banned for a long time over silly things such as joking around with your friend on a whisper and saying your a silly removed and then you get banned for 2 days without warning.... This happened to my friends and I when we were generally chatting and we seen nothing in the rules or FAQ or anything on any Darkorbit or Bigpoint site saying we can get banned for saying little stuff such as that for a long period of time. So whats this about??

Please post your user id so a mod or admin can look into this for you. Also the more bans you get the longer the ban time becomes, and anything that could be considered a insult is bannable. Hope this helps.

Your ban was for a rather offensive insult directed at other players. Please remember that chat is there for everyone and therefore keep it clean. We all want a decent chat where we can banter and enjoy the game. You are responsible for what you place in chat so please keep a check on this in future. The ban will remain until the timer expires.
