Hi, i have 7 iris and have all B02s on drones and all speed engines on ship and i have sepromed my shields AND i have the pilot bio thing that increases your shield strength by 25% and i am still getting popped near my port.

Can someone tell me what i can buy that will help me defensively? (Not Boosters, Designs or EMPS, Insta Shields. They seem to still lock onto me with EMP).

you need shield mechanics which decreases damage dealt by 12%
you only get 8% of the real damage with full bo2 on your ship.

Unfortunately, we have to work with these shields, which do nothing to stop the huge fire-power of some players. I diddn't pop for a month, because I went around with 1 config full b02 on ship and drone, the other all speed and b02. When an nmy locks you, you need to run on the speed config, dropping an emp on the way. Then once your speed shields are down, switch to tank config until that is nearly down or you are near port. If both shields are down, switch back to speed, and put an insta shield on while you jump port.
I have found this is the best method to avoid popping, but it is cheaper to pop for 500 uri :)
When hunting, I use all this on my shield speed config, but double shield boostered so that I can run a suicide config along with it.
