Best configuration for a goli

Ok - now after some time I earned enough points and uridium to buy myself a goli so I'm wondering what you guys out there recommed as the best configuration for a goli. Engines vs shields weapons etc.

if u have leftover udrium use them ether for repairs or to buy some ammo or lazers. I DONT have one but that is what i would do.

have 2 different configs and one for running away and one for shooting npcs. a new goli can still be shot down very fast by a full elite so one config is for running away(engines on ship and shields on drones)

hmm, I bet you are asking what to build up first...lasers and shields before engines. Top elite 10x speed engine is 2k uridium. I buy these, when I would get 2k over my personal uridium minimum (2k uri or so).

lasers, buy MP1 at 40k credits until u can afford to buy/bid on LF3's. LF3's on trade (auction) go for way too much credits. I am talking millions and millions of credits. 10mil to open, don't know for sure, I got mine a long time ago. You can use the same principal on these that I used on engines. Every time I got 10k over my minimum I'd buy an LF3. top elite shield engine (80%) is also 10k uridium, do the same thing. If you want to spend (waste) millions of credits at trade, go for it.WARNING about trade, whatever you bid is deducted from your hard earned uridium weather at TIME OF BID. Sure I got a goli for 50k once. took losing 3 mil on bids to get it. In reality, I spend 3mil550k or something like that.
Uridium converts to credits at 10:1. 1 uridium is 10 credits. If an LF3 sells at 10k uri that makes it worth 100k credits right? HA. not here. That LF3 can cost 5mil-25mil credits. Now you can see why I bought most of mine. Yes, I bought some uridium to get to elite, but I won more than I bought.
You may already know most of this.I would go laser,shield, engine, laser, shield, engine.
I personally don't think the LF2 is worth buying. MP1 hits 60 hitpoints. LF2 hits at 100 hitpoints, and LF3 hits 150 hitpoints.. MP1 is 40k credits. LF2 is 5k uridium. Using DO's conversion, that's 50k credits. So, you go from 60 hitpoints to 100 hitpoints for 10k more. LF3 at 100kcredits is worth holding out for. If you buy LF2, you just have to sell them to get LF3. You still shoot red with LF2. This is my personal opinion/experience after 9 months of playing. Hope this helps.

I would also suggest if possible to buy premium/some uridium. It will really help.

In terms of configs. I am full elite and assuming you are as well.

First config: Speed.
15 +10Speed Gens.
4 10k Shield Gens on Drones
27 LF3

Extras: Repairbot, Repairbot CPU, Rocket Turbo. (If you dont have premium consider switching the CPU for a cargo expander. Dont take away the Rocket Turbo as that will decrease your overall damage.)

Sencond Config: Power (Its a simple config. I like to run less shields, but that gives me more damage. The result is the in large scale battles I tend to die easier, but I deal more damage. Small Battles, up to 5-7 golis, It has a good effect Dealing alot of damage with Shield.)

15 10K Shield Gens
31 LF3
Extras: Same

Its a fairly simple config, not a heavy shield config at all. It is a faster damage config. With 3x 9-11k on Speed. Up to 14k on Power. Both without updates.

but i would get 6 of the best speed raisers so ur just as quik as any other ship without engines and fill up on the 256,000 costing shields good way to preserve uri

if u have a clan ask for 700,000 creds to put in 60 damage causing lasers (if u dont have better)
after this this u can start looking for the best sheilds and lasers

right now i've got the following
19 LF3s
24 10k shield gens
3 10K speed engines
deal a good amount of damage and can take a pounding from 2 or 3 elite golis at once for a good amount of time.

speed is king if you cannot chase you cannot kill> period 15 top elite engines first.
