Enemy on x-1

I'm only a level 1 and I should be able to see enemies on my home map. Right now the threat bar is yellow but there is no blip on my radar. How is this possible? Are they in the radiation zone? If so how are they still alive? The threat has been on my home map for about an hour but it has not shown at all on radar.

There is a few spots on the map that allow a ship cloaked or not to sit and be undetectable on radar. If you add a cloak chip into the mix you can hide undetected for hours working on the 48 hour quest. I have recently come to the decision that unless I buckle down and be bored sitting I will never put in enough time on that quest before I get tired of seeing it. Depending on the server and company you are in it may have been me you were trying to find I put in 3hrs today. Of course I read e-mail, forum, surf (in another window) and such. In fact it gave me time to catch up on some stuff.

there is actually a glitch when there is a level 1 threat on the x-1 maps.
no enemies exist but for whatever reason the bar does not show the correct information.
it happens quite rarely though, i see it once maybe every other day.
