i was shooting a vru then he cloack then he jumped port and i still has the lock and i was keep shooting him when i suddenly lost the lock or he got dissapeared :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Two things which may have occured....

- He logged out causing you to lose lock

- He Jump-chipped with the jump CPU

Also, if people double jump, you lose lock.

You can not log out or use the jump chip while being fired upon (lasers and rockets actually hitting you).
It was more than likely a lag jump that he got lucky on.

..I agree you cannot use jump chip or log out but there were times when I was right on a player and they disappeared and no lag was involved nor were they near a port. Seems you can close page which I think some players are doing in order not to get destroyed!
