Can Senators still be used if their Senate level is lowered?

I need a confirmation if I build a senate to let's say lvl.24, create a few senators at that level and then destroy the senate to level 1, will my senators survive and I will be able to use them? I can save a lot of construction sites!

Yes, your Senators will survive the destruction of the Senate which created them.

However, they do not survive the demolition of the castle they were created in, and you cannot move them from one castle to another.

Therefore you will first need to think carefully about which castles to use, and second what is the maximum level of Senator you will ever need, and make sure you have created sufficient Senators, otherwise you might find yourself regretting tearing down the Senate, or even having to rebuild it.

Remember that you need exactly the right level of Senator to take over a castle, neither too high nor too low, so you'll probably want to create at least one of each level, unless you plan to knock down structures to get the castle within range of the Senators you do have.

Here is another hint for regaining some building lots: once you have completed the basic research tree and started on the advanced research, you can lower your Laboratory to level 5 with no ill effects. Unlike structures, you can never lose your research. If you lower the Laboratory below 5, then you won't be able to increase the level of your Stables.

One last thing: the subject "Senators" is better than something like "Help", but it would be better still if in the future you make your subjects even more descriptive, in the manner in which I have changed it.
