Hello,I had recently learned how to change my signature and stuff like my proflie picture but I wanted to know how to make my profile picture move.Basically I want to know how to get an animated profile picture.

not sure what you mean here .
so .
if you have a animated image then you would just upload it like you did your other image.
or
you would like to know how to make one?
then i would suggest you google it as this is a web browser game not a image tutorial site .

Please read the Board Rules regarding size of your signature -- it is way too big.

I suggest you do a search for animated GIF files. You need a graphics editing tool if you want to create your own. Otherwise, you link to an animated image just like you link to any other image. The animation is part of the image file, it is not anything added on by the forum or other software.

I was kinda wondering about Njrprick's profile picture can you help about that?

It is exactly what I said -- an animated GIF, which can be uploaded just like any other GIF file. An animated GIF is an image file which actually consists of several separate images shown in sequence. The GIF format allows you to specify how many images, the order, the time-delay for each image, and the number of repetitions, which in the case of the example you mentioned is infinite. You can use any drawing tool which allows you to save images in GIF format to create the original images. You'll need a special graphics application to assemble these into an animated GIF. If you do a search on the Internet, you'll find any number of such applications, some free, some you have to buy. I have used "Advanced GIF Animator" which I purchased and found to be OK, but I cannot tell you which tool is the easiest or the best.

does it have to be within a certain length? as i have put a pivot animeationto the left and it doesnt work. yeh i saved as a gif.

I'm not sure I understand the question. When you say 'onto the left', do you mean that you tried to use an animated GIF for your forum icon? And when you say that you saved an animation as a GIF, do you mean that you had an animated image of some other format (for example PNG) which you tried to convert to a GIF?

well i saved as pvt then converted straight to gif uploaded and it doesnt work. if thats what you mean. an animation is multiple frames but its only showing the first one for me. can i not use pivot as a gif animation for a avatar(forum pic)?
