Just a quick question. We had a player in our alliance (player A). He had a VS in place with player B. The player was away for 21+ days, then all of a sudden his castle went abandoned. Now I know the other player (player B) did not terminate the VS, b/c he is also on vacation. So the question is, is VS still in force when player B is away? I have seen it before when player w/ VS in place went abandoned, but this time I am sure that player B did not terminate the VS. Any ideas?
If a player does not log in for 21 days their castles are marked as abandoned by the system. I'm pretty sure it's 21 days but it could be 28. Having a VS will not stop that happening!
I assume it's a mechanism to avoid the servers getting too many inactive castles. If you watch the number of players who drop out early it is fair enough but there have been complaints from more established players who, because of unavoidable circumstances, have had to start over from scratch.
I understand that the player's account is left intact - i.e. any stock of gold pieces is still available.
Not so, if you have a VS, you will not go abandoned. I have seen players over 100 days b/c of VS. But it seems if once the person who's your VS goes over some time, the VS is terminate. Just wondering what that cut off point is
An accout become grey also with the VS if the substitute doesn't enter in the account for 21 days...
So it is neccesary that someone (the player or the substitute) enter in the account every 20 days at least...
