Yay! I built my first 2nd castle. :):p

Uh-oh! The first trader sent to supply some resources from my main castle got lost. :(

Will they *always* get lost on this route, (a massive 4 tile journey) - in which case my 2nd castle is totally useless (:(:(:mad::(:()- or is it just random, and some traders will make it and others will get stuck on the Basingstoke roundabouts :(:confused::(?

Update: over 2 hours now, and none of the merchants have made it in either direction. Is this:
a) a bug that WILL be fixed
b) soemthing to do with some terrain rules that arent explained anywhere
c) totally random, and a trader will get through eventually
d) why if the construction wagon can make it, can the traders not? Are they especially stupid?

Are you the tigerbeard from Seafight?
Could there be any other ;)

We were so impressed with Xmas Day on Seafight, that we all started Damoria accounts!

Sometimes these problems resolve them selves so keep trying if not , we are unable to issue resorces but i will happily add you gold or troops , whichever you prefer to compensate

This seems to be getting more common...now my traders are starting to become overdue also.

I have 60K+ of each resource out there at the moment ("<)

Hehe, im in the same boat. I have 4 traders carrying a combined 12k of resources that appear to have forgotten their maps.
In addition I have 1 trader that is carrying 10 bits of wood that is due to knock on Yolands door in 2 and a half days. I also have 2 traders that have delivered their loads that cant find their way back.

Im laughing at the moment but then again they have only been missing for about 7 hours. The police say I cant file a missing persons report until they have been gone for 24 hours :-)

I didn't have any problems with traders until starting January 26. I had moved plenty of resources back and forth between castles up to that day without any problems. Now in the display of "Market" --> "Direct trade", I have entries showing unrealistic arrival times in the "Delivery to" column, such as 7 or 12 hours for a journey which in the past has taken 30 minutes. Curiously, the first number shown in the "Delivery details" column, the number of traders, is zero. However, in the display of "Outgoing", the traders are shown as overdue, and what appeared to be arrival times in "Direct trade" is shown in "Outgoing" as the time overdue.

So apart from the problem of resources not being delivered in the first place, the "Direct trade" display needs some fixes, namely the actual number of traders should be shown (instead of 0) and the time under the "Delivery to" column should somehow be changed to indicate that the traders are overdue, such as being shown with a minus sign, in red color, or with the text "overdue".

I now also have support troops who are not arriving, so this appears to be a general problem of moving anything between castles, not just resources. But it appears to be limited to simply moving stuff, because troops I send out to attack are returning with their loot.

Allow me to speculate: a job or process or thread has died which is responsible for periodically checking to see what units in transit have arrived and updating the database with the new locations and amounts of resources or troops. Whoever has picket duty - please restart that job!
