If a pilot can only listen, that is fine. Pilots that were members before the age and TS requirements were instituted were not cut. A member was cut a couple days ago, but not for lacking a microphone. That member was cut for refusing to use TS despite being able to, refusing to attend wing meetings, refusing to go on wing operations with anyone. Clearly that pilot had no interest in actually being a member of the wing as there was no willingness to work with it.

As for teasing pilots who grind for cubits, that is patently untrue. The vast majority of players on the Colonial side, and likely the Cylon side, grind for cubits because pilots are unwilling or unable to spend money to gain them quickly. There is nothing wrong with this. In fact, if one watches the chat window, "wallet warriors" are much more derided than "grinders", being viewed as taking a short-cut or unfair advantage. To my knowledge, and I am on the game most of each evening every day, no one in the 7th has teased, griefed, or bullied another player, Colonial or Cylon, for grinding their cubits. Water mine thiefs are a different story and problem for both factions. I sometimes hear our pilots over the voice comms teasing each other about being "wallet warriors" or talking about a wallet warrior Cylon pilot. This is immediately shut down by myself or other senior officers. There is nothing wrong with putting money into the game to gain resources, and let me remind everyone that the game is free to play. The "wallet warriors" are a large factor in keeping the game free for everyone else.

Everyone on both factions should keep in mind that information exchanged between players about others is going to be hearsay unless there are screen caps or multiple independent witnesses. This is particularly true for information going from one faction to another, as of course each faction cannot see the others fleet and system local messages. Also remember that anyone going from one faction to another may have a grudge or bias against particular players or groups over real or imagined slights, and therefore their statements must be taken with regards to the possibility of bias or inaccuracy, or flat out fabrication.

I grind out all of my cubits (save the $70 in cubit packs I have bought over the last 14 months) and while ts is required the ability to speak on it is not. No one ever has or ever will be dismissed from the 7th for not having a mic. Nor will will a mostly free to play wing ever ridicule someone for playing for free!

Having been a member of the 7th I don't remember any requirement to buy a mic but teamspeak was strongly encouraged and that wasn't even a requirement. But I do know that many but not all colonials have a mentality of if your not a wallet warrior your second class. Now as for the 7th having that mentality I never got that feeling from the leaders. Now as always I seek to help others. Whether they realize it or not.

wth? I consider myself to be the occasional wallet warrior, but thats not the point. I myself and i think with this i can speak for the whole wing (triumphprevail), which is largely a non -paying wing, we have respect for the grinders, because most of the time they do not have the high lvl equipment that WWs have, simply because it gets ridiculously expensive to lvl your stuff beyond lvl11-12 (personally i have nothing over lvl 10 and can still stand my ground) because the thing that matters in the end is 1. a good ship setup and more importantly 2. a pilot that knows what he/ she is doing meining SKILLZ

The point I am making is that certain players not all have this mentality,on the other hand there are players who seek to treat all players with respect. Anyway why does everyone automatically think I am talking about them.

Just because I know what was your first message I do a post here:
Yes, I have wallet warrior tag on our teamspeak.
No, I am not a wallet warrior. I have lower lvl guns and gear that everyone imagine.
Imagine that I have 10 3x mining booster but I have no time to use that because close all day I play for our faction.

I respect all player in this game who help each others.

Then why have you consistently sought to exclude me from every op roll since you was with the 7th?

OProlls interesting in these days. More times just happen from a fight and less time called on FL since lot of dual accounts in the game (I have no problem with that player who play on both side and if he/she on blue then help cols and never gives any information to other side).

So if somebody miss an OProll that could be. More times I miss oprolls too. If I lead an OProll then I have full squad all time. I never check wings, never check lvls. All who come with the fleet: important fighter!

I only hate when we do OProll and others just using for PVPfarming and others fail because of them. But I think this problem could be on every faction on every server.
