Faction change for Kobol?

I see faction changes landing on other severs soon why no intervention on Kobol?

Would any Kobol cylons take up the offer if there was a faction change?

Pfft....there hasn't been any demand for a faction switch on Kobol for weeks. Heck, we had people from Aquaria jacking the thread for a faction switch on their server.

The map is fairly balanced if not empty compared to other servers. I've even seen the Colonials get the mining bonus for sector control a number of times in the last month. Sure, we don't have the numbers or maybe organization for a big fleet battle or op tours but moving all the big cylons over to the blue side ain't going to improve that.

Yes we're vicious and bloody sneaky alright I'll give you that,,

but that doesn't make it acceptable for BP to ignore the player/level imbalance.

Yeah its usually very empty on the colonial side - screen grab a sector map any day of the week and there be a 3/1 imbalance of OP's``

We do get the mining bonus occasionally on off peak hours if we're sneaky or the toasters are sat in their home systems minding water 'toids. Soon as their out of water they wander over and help themselves to whatever we've got going on - which just makes the gulf in equipment level between the two factions even worse

Spent most of today defending one of two remaining OP's from repeated attacks lost one saved the other but its pointless as long as they can roll us at will or take planetoid resources at a whim.

Left unaddressed, this will become worse not better.

WE DO need a faction change but not a random poaching of Cylon MVP's agreed, perhaps the transfer of one wing with a mix of levels would do it.

While I don't play on Kobol, would like to voice my thought that this would be a good idea on every server when there is a need for faction switching. Having only been through one faction switch I noticed that most of the Cylons who switched were highter level players (40 to 70 compaired to my level 15 at the time) and weren't trusted for the first few months. In addition, no one wanted to work with them as we were all stil in the mindset of trying to avoid the cylon gank squads, which left them extremely dissatisfied after the switch.

So, I think having an entire wing switch together would be a great way to handle faction switches. Perhaps the Devs will take a serious look at this Idea.

Imagine my surprise when tonight I sign in to Kobol and see that one of the high ranking cylon players has changed factions , this may be for personal reasons however what has confused me is that a large part of the higher level cylon players have stopped playing recently and so our player numbers have dwindled , in fact in some cases whole wings have stopped playing .
.So it baffles me how this player has been allowed to switch !.

@Aurora nope they were not in my wing , we just occasionally used to squad together , mainly when they were testing the carriers , and your right my first thought was ..WOAH !! ...and I am totally confuzzled as to how /why they turned blue ! but best of luck to him/her .

He spent money at beginning of server(maybe still does hell if i know),so i guess you really can buy a faction switch off bp...only other reason that'll get you a switch is personal abuse,and thats from fellow cylons.

Drop off in colonial numbers over the last two weeks must be noticable to all players.


Pretty soon theres only going to be cylons and their alternate accounts left.
