lol never thought of using it in that way, Paradox...
I was thinking more of just stopping easier when Im running full-speed towards a mine or something. Imagine arena, someone making a pass by you (strike arena). They pass by you, you turn to chase em, the pop slide. Hit reverse-thrusters and stop, watch them keep flying backwards and out of range of their guns. Reverse-thrusters would be the anti-slide. lol |

this was used alot in the Original BSG series. they actually called it Reverse turbos. It was used when they needed to stop very fast. Raiders coming in behind a viper and the viper hits the Reverse turbos. Viper stops raider overshoots and right into the vipers guns.
