lol never thought of using it in that way, Paradox...

I was thinking more of just stopping easier when Im running full-speed towards a mine or something.

Imagine arena, someone making a pass by you (strike arena). They pass by you, you turn to chase em, the pop slide.

Hit reverse-thrusters and stop, watch them keep flying backwards and out of range of their guns.

Reverse-thrusters would be the anti-slide. lol

this was used alot in the Original BSG series. they actually called it Reverse turbos. It was used when they needed to stop very fast. Raiders coming in behind a viper and the viper hits the Reverse turbos. Viper stops raider overshoots and right into the vipers guns.

Yep and if you've got the acceleration as soon as you see them deactivate the slide(Cause you know they will. ) then you just hit boost and come straight down their throat. Sliders hate when you pull reversals and don't chase them. LOL!

Oh on top of this I thought up an engine system called the Strike Slide Booster. I wonder what it would be like using that with your Reverse Thrusters? LOL! This game could have so much potential.

Yeah but that's what Gyros are for right? Taking you out of a crazy spin. And besides it's not like we're playing Decent / Decent II. No one is going to fall into a seizure. LOL!

Actually Illi_am I think you, Canuck, one or two others and myself have already figured out the whole Strike flight control system as a whole. It would be a crazy rush to do some of those crazy, tight, maneuvers.
