Not bad but as a support ship help u may need missile if u want or if ur in a open run put some guns flak and something and gyros are useless put a another slide for endless sliding because help are slow and if a missile both come u can use speed boost computer and slide endlessly: )

If the answer to "What are your other two weapons?" is that you only have 6, then the first step in improving this would probably be to upgrade it to an Advanced Hel and then go from there.

Yes its just the basic hel trying to save the money up to advance it hopefully it will happen in the next week . Most of the builds I have seen are using all long range cannons so that's what I went with just seems to need something more

I've found in this game, a little of of everything isn't as good as a whole lot of one thing.

So if you are not wanting a support ship, I would go something like;

2 x Damage Buff
2X Avoidance Debuff
1x AUX Power

That way you are hitting harder for longer and will finish off a target much, much faster. With 2 x Avoidance Debuffs your target will be in almost constant debuffed state so long as you have the power to keep it up.

First: advance your ship.
Then keep your long range they are good guns and help keep your power under ceck, but six are too much, better hav five (main weapons) +three (secondary weapons) and for this last you can go for any type of short range, but take two flaks and one pd for for switch, for selfdefence against rocketeters, and strykes.
I will not go for rockets launchers because they will run u dry of power, power that you need to run youe electronic.
Buy one equipment to improve your emitter rating, there ar two types, one is "fix" the other is like the others buffs. Choose one at pls. Then go for debuff: siren, gorgon, avoidance debuf.
Slide is a good choice, two is a good idea but watch always your power. You will find situations like op run where you will need speed, so go for turbos, or some fleet fight where two rcs can be useful. I think that sped is a good choice to start with.
Hull plates do always their job, and the hel got only two hull slots so the benefit you can get from armor is low.
Good hunting.
