Hello all.

The DEVs have announced they are doing a Q&A, so please post the questions you want to put forward to ask here in this thread. They will do their best to answer as many as they can.

because I know it's going to come up anyways: is there any plans for a faction switch? and, are there any other faction balance mechanics that might be deployed?

is there any plans to modify/remove the after death special offer(s) now that there has been some feedback on them?

are there any plans for decreasing the amount unidentified objects, making them stackable, making the analyzers easier to come by?
are there any plans on changing the loot table for the unidentified objects? right now the variety of content they provide isn't very encouraging for the amount many people are getting. also, they seem to be giving out an uneven number of missile drops (too many)

could you create a merit counter (that keeps track of your merits for that day) for better accuracy when judging how close you are to the day's merit cap? (could replace the tylium gauge near the dradis)

is the marauder being graphically overhauled like the rhino? lords of kobol know it could use the face lift.

what ships are still in the process of being reskinned for the new graphics system, and when can we expect those to roll out?

1. Will the new flight models include a boost in acceleration and turn rate for Strikes so they feel more like fighters and not like slow moving patrol boats?

1a. Why doesn't the Aurora/Harpy increase acceleration as well as booster speed. Having one and not the other doesn't make sense.

2. Command Strikes are in dire need of an overhaul. They are not capable of functioning as intended. They lack standoff capabilities and the ability to support Fleets, Fast Attack Groups, or even Strike Squads due to only have an ES range of 250m. When are you going to really make them a worthy asset and how do you intend to accomplish this task?

3. Where is the AP ammo for Strikes and why is HERT (Accuracy) ammo not given to all ship classes in the daily bonus? Strikes and Lines alike would be better off with HERT ammo.

4. What is the new work you are doing to improve ship roles? What will the bonus be to them afterwards? Are you finally going to give them bonuses due to role instead of which one seems the coolest/best?

5. When are you going to make decoys more effective against missile spammers or when are we going to get jammers to deal with it?

5a. The Aphrodite/Siren is supposed to reduce a targets DRADIS range but you have to well within a targets DRADIS range to use it and even then you're still within the DRADIS range when activated. When is that going to be fixed and why can't it be used to break a DRADIS lock?

1) Might you consider not offering an incentive switch but rather charge players for it?

2) Might you offer faction switches in game rather than on forums?

3) Might you base drops from pvp, npcs, asteroids, industrial mining, on the percentage of players logged in fro each faction? Only fair if one side has a percentage population advantage to win battles grow ops that the other side be offered a comprable incentive. Takes some of the inequality out of the population advantage.

4) Might you incorporate wing mail service?

5) Might you incorporate quick load out options for ship equipment?

6) Might you incorporate a quick sale button for selling off all un usable salvage?

7) Are there any plans to extend skills training beyond level 10?

8) If no plans to extend skills training, will you at least allow us to sell back all the skills training boosters for the cubits we spent on them. Its not like other items we could use with a different ship or load out. They simply cant be used

How close are you to fixing the fatal content and unity errors? 5 out of 10 pvp engagements result in a browser crash and my ship being blown up. Yes, it happens to me atleast 5 times a day now.

Why is the lag worse? I have to clear my cashes everyday just to play.

How about changing the OP timer to only activate when docked under threat? I'm tired of having to wait 30 seconds to undock just because I wanted to change ships, especially when there isn't even a pvp in the whole system.

Are you ever going to stop changing the rules every time we get used to them? Are you ever going to finnish the game or will this game be treated like another DO?

Any chance you will be making changes to the economy? More cubits for water? Cubits for isotopes? Happy hour prices all the time would be reasonable, but for what it costs to level high level gear, I think it's crazy to spend 100 bux to level a couple of guns.

Can we get some changes to salvage? Some should sell for titanium.

How do you intend to have squad loot work? I like the way it works now and with restoring the plat drops I don't think the economy would need much change.

are you considering bringing back the happy accident of multiple leaders per wing? or was this something that would be bypassed late in the wing overhaul (player defined wing positions) so we will just have to wait?

the server suggestions for west coast players are still aquaria and scorpia...(I think, that's how it is for me at least...anyone else getting this?) and I believe this is choking off new players. is there any fixes to this in the works?

If major changes are going to take place in the game. Has consideration been given to do a complete reset. Offer cubits back for every ship, ammo, and equipment than let players choose what they want and re-equip. Only seems equitable if you are making major changes.

Reason to get quit players back to playing? Incentives for their return?

Better advertising of the game?

Freighter spawn times too high? Was adjusted long ago to almost 5 minutes. Used to be almost instant. Shorter time please.
