I say if noone like this event,noone making you take part...
I did it,for maybe 15 mins...totally sucked and drops were laughable.So went on a killin spree.

Moral of the story...
If u wanna soar with the eagles,dont peck crap with the chickens

well loged in to the game saw its a rock mining event.. logged out. then again would of done the same if it was not a rock mining event. Game is rubbish I only play to chat to frineds or stock up on some nukes to kill lines in 1 pop. thats the only thing i like in the game now, the rest is pish.

that was my intention at first, but then when i jumped into those maps and saw the lag in there, i gave up as i wouldnt be able to do a thing in that huge lag created by those extra rocks and all those players clustered together

i insist that you implant in game that colonials can kill each other.I dont want any off those noobs touching my roids....i want them dead all.......

Considering the outcry at ending the previous event prematurely, and the number of people enjoying doing "something else", it looks like the only who didn't like the event posted in this thread ;-)

I shot some rocks, spent more time killing npcs and having fun with a group of new players under lvl 10 who were having a whale of a time. The newbies completely ignored the rocks, and were busy getting lvls like mad...

After an hr, i went to check the drops, and laughed, i think i got more from valuable 5 containers than the actual event itself...

I've decided to keep the minimum 40% dam ammo for my strike from now on, and use it when mining asteroids. Still waiting for some new "uber mining" ammo instead of grey tips

exactly my thoughts ....I have just been going around popping zombie (pink ) rock crunchers .

( anybody get the feeling I am not gonna let this pink rock issue go ?! lol please devs fix this !!! )

Thanks BP your doing a great job on the game, one satisfied "Customer'.

The enemy is waiting to shoot the rock hounds, haha saw a couple last night they got ganked I didn't get a shot off they were killed that fast, meh I need 1 more DEO so yes please show up in those systems, please!
