Question for BP admin

I would like official answer please...

This Golden asteroid thing came up and friend asked me to come help lower lvl group.. with the roids... I was in my wing chat, when a friend told me on vent that a player was griping at me for using my multi target cannons in shooting the roids...

So I switched to system chat and here is a whole slew of slander... He proceeded to complain to me that I was hogging up the area, as well as marking the roids and just leaving them... I tried to explain that if he watched I would return to shooting them once I got the little ships off me. I am not going to set there while 1 to 5 little ships are shooting me...

I did not point out the fact that he was lvl 100... and could snap the roids into and hog up more of them than the lower levels fighting for there life in trying to play. If I am in a area I will try to help lower players. He was in no group flying around popping roids as fast as he could.

My question? Is the above a BP terms of use violation as was reported to me by the player?

I don't believe so. I think the plat lines and waiting lists were more of a tos infringement than what you describe. Were you restricting that players ability to play the game? I don't think so. Just my humble opinion.

Firstly, I am not a BP Admin however from what you are saying, I cannot see the violation? First come, first serve and you are using multi target weapons which is not a weapon exclusively available to you only.

If the "slew of slander" turns into anything heated, with the content of such in violation of the chat guidelines, you should report this directly to Support with screenshots.

I use my multi cannons for those roids as well. I have only once had someone come to me with an issue. I just told them "Sorry my actions make you upset, but there are a lot of other systems to bust these roids in. Nothing but yourself is keeping you here." And he seen my point and respectfully apologized to me (which i never expected) and he went on busting roids.

I see nothing here that breaks the TOS.

i see the breaking of tos. but not eoungh to take ban or suspension. you may record video or make series of screenshot and send to support but its lottery 1:1000000 chance that he may get punished

I think you misunderstand Jaro722. There is nothing wrong with using multi-target cannons to mine the asteroids. There may be something wrong with what the other people were saying to the OP, if they were harassing him, but that would be something to bring up with support.

I might suggest not going after multiple rocks though...just to conserve energy and make sure that you are taking out one rock quickly instead of two+ rocks slowly...still, no need for that high lvl to lose his head over things

I think it's more about being considerate of other players. If you're in a crowded area using multi-cannons to tag as many asteroids as you can, it can be frustrating for other players to find out they've been pounding rocks only to find your squad getting all the loot.

Personally if it's crowded, I would move to another area or switch to shooting drones for loot.
