Blau staffel strike + setup for strikes

Hi I'm hoping some blaue staffel can help me on setting up an adv raider, or war raider.. Whats the best setups? avoidance... what works?? dogfight tips? anything.. Blau staffel you are some of the best strikes in Libran so would love some advice from you or any other strike pros on whats hot:cool: and whats not. :mad:

LOL...Most you guys all fly liners and escorts.... Been trying to share with some of you high level Tin-cans to get out of your no skill auto aim/auto fire cubit drags and get to teaching your younger players how things are done...Perfect example...

Infamous....I don't have a beef with you at all, so I'm being perfectly honest here.

If you go with an avoidance build, you will be harder to hit, but you will sacrifice something..

Sometimes I will fly with avoidance so I can stay in the game longer but that doesn't always work, especially when I'm outfitted for bombing and a strike setup with guns and speed gets on my six. Sometimes I fly for speed and drop the ducts, but that doesn't always work either cuzz when I get close, my ship gets blow'd up faster as opposed to running ducts. And other times I run a balance of a duct, a thruster and a slide....

Do you like to use guns or missiles? Long range or short range....I would say that with long range weapons, you'll want speed, short range, run a duct or two...But I would always have a thruster in there no matter what.

ENGINE : 2 x Avoidance + 1 Slide

COMPS : 1 x Cerberus + 1 x +Avoidance + 1 x -Avoidance

WEAPON : 5 x SR-P or MR-P Guns (Depends on your preference)

HULL : 2 x Hullplate + 1 x DC pack, or vice versa.

There you got your build. The important part is how you use it.

Liners are the Least Accurate + Slowest + Most Obvious + Least Avoidance ships. The second you make a mistake, you can't run away (like in a Strike) and a ton of enemies pile up on you, and your low avoidance stat. And you get forced to clear every single one of them while there are also Nukes oncoming because you have no other chance.

The skill in Liner is about controlling the Positioning + Energy + HP + DCs (All at the same time) and Selecting the Correct Targets because these goddamned weapons only shoot at every 5 second, and when you miss it, you wait for 5 more seconds while you get TONS of damage in your face. Not even mentioning the Arena.

If else everyone could be a Liner pro, and i'd have at least a little bit of competition, yet since the first day of Arena, the only person who could compete me was master Dooh himself; Yet i've been slashing people in Strike Arena AND Escort Arena like it's a child's play. Still have some wrongly-selected equipment yet i'm sparing funds to purchase the correct ones.

So do not underestimate of sth that you have no idea of the mastery. If you think that -Especially the Liner Arena- is easy, i'd like to see you there.

Most of Blue Staffles strike strength has nothing to do with set up, but how they play.

They use teamspeak to coordinate, never travel any where alone, and often travel with there carieer and never venture far from it so they can go full 3 or 5 times level 15 RCS as they dont need speed.

They heal via the carieer and DC which makes them 3 times as strong as regular high level strikes.

Also it seems many of there strike pilots are specialist so most have all level 15 equiptment so 3 or 4 of them with SR'ps and level 15 buffs with reds or KEW's will destroy most ships in seconds.

I suspect there red stockpile is imense, so even after they go off from sale they'll be spitting reds for a while, especially since they pretty much own mupsell plats and are exploiting the cubit bug 24/7 at the moment.

And get kicked in the face on a team VS team in Cerbero just 48 hours ago, appearantly all the farming and paying doesnt end up well when they get into a 15-Flak-Flakfield without having nova-nukers around...

I can't care less for them, just another Colonial team for me. What bothers me is that they dare to talk like we're equals; Their band leader claims that "they can take any Liner down" where 10 of us takedown a Fleet + Pegasus on a daily basis (Not even mentioning the time time Dooh + Me tookdown a fleet); I'd like to see 10 of them clearing out an entire fleet which is also supported with the Basestar.

I had given them chance to be civilized for 2 times, both times they ended up disgracing my members (First 'predatorhawk' then 'Seirra') on /OG; So there won't be a third one; They definitely do not worth to be talked with.

And infam0us, i don't know what's going on between you and them, but the second you consider them as 'civilized' or even as 'friends', they'll either backstab you or disgrace you; Just so you know.

Why use a speed buff to fight escorts? You're much better off using a speed debuff.

I'm working on leveling a debuff up right now. I will be testing it soon. I loaded up on speed and slide to create distance if I needed it but im getting stronger now and working on my ew a little.

You'll find it a lot more useful, a harpy is pretty useless against escorts with the new ammo now as theres no breaking off from a fight once you're commited anymore, once you're within 1k of a high level escort you are beyond the PSR.

how do you stay behind an escort? do you flank occasionally and boost often or do you stay at flank speed or stay boosted? once or twice i bumped into an escort from behind only to go into a slide of some sort and end up with 6 guns firing on me. If someone could make a video compilation and put on youtube it would be epic thanks.

Well back to ur question.. i use different equip for different situations. in Arena i use in my opinion the strongest dogfight equip:

Weapons: 5 SR normal
Engines: 2 Avoid, 1 Slide
Hull: 2 Hullplats, 1 DC
Computer: Avoidance +, Avoidinace -, Damage +

this is a standart equip to fight and win the most duels.

I have some other equips special against Escorts and Red Shark liners ;)

but.. if u want to ask some other questions, ur welcome at our teamspeak so i can speak with you.


And for all the others... I dont like RedSharks, right... im sad that so many good ppl joining this bad wing with such a unfair playing leader. But just remember... i "encount" (Dont know if its the right word for it) everyone like he will do it to me... so if ur nice to me i will be nice to you.. if ur flaming and tell lies of me i will hate u until the end.. just ask Bane ;)

btw Bane, why ur always retreating duels? U Said to me, that 2 strikers of cant beat u in ur Liner.. but i dont think so.... but we cant find it out aslong as u dont want to test it. I bet, we would win.

All of red sharks are all friend's and we all help each other, I put in global on wing chat that I nead help and right away there are unlist 3 of my wing mates around me helping me fight, how many coloniol wing's can say something like that.

I have a WHOLE fleet shooting me, Nuking me, and seeing me from the other side of the map. And my ship moves with 49,5 speed and turns slower than a brick. MUCH slower than yours, and MUCH lesser in any stat than your 640 Base Avoidance, wallet-pumped Viper. Our technical survival terms have a great difference; Yet i still have x10 more K/D than you. Means that you cannot use that thing effectively.

But... Another point! How come Master_of_War has 11.69? He also has a strike yet he has x5 of your K/D ratio. Means that there ARE better strikes than you statistically... Yet my closest competitor in Liner has 6.32... Means that i hunt x3 more effective than any other Liner in the server with a gigantic "SHOOT ME" sign over my head.
