Yesterday i was playing around in the raider just for kicks.I swapped out all the equipment in my war raider and put it in the raider. After i was finished playing with the raider i decided to swap the equipment back out.During the process of taking the equipment out i didn't pay attention to the screen i was in doing the click and drag.Thought i was in the locker, but nooooooooooo,i was selling all my high level equipment for tylium.2 lv11 guns,2 lv10 guns,2 lv11 hull plates,1 lv10weapons buff,1 lv10 avoidance buff,1 lv10 avoidance RCS,2 lv6 avoidance RCS.Needless to say i was overwhelmed in shock at the amount of money i just pissed down the drain. When i realized what i did,i did some quick math and estimated that i just blew around 200+ U.S. dollars for about 200k tylium. There is no one to blame but myself and there is nothing to be done to get it back. There are post on this forum from others who have done this deed and the response from BP was along the lines of "we are sorry but there is nothing we can do".After a day and a half of thinking about all i lost (in time grinding away at rocks and real money),i have come to the conclusion that i will not drop another dime in this game nor will i continue to play anymore(without my equipment anymore why should i).
I will miss playing with you all,it has been fun. Please don't do what i did, look before you start clicking and drag yourself out of the game.

You should at least try support, i know there is little chance that they will give your equipment back but since you want to leave , it doesnt hurt trying! :)
Not to mention that a friend recently sold 4 lvl 10 guns and he got them back from support :)

How recently? I'm sure was no long time ago an official announcement who said the support team will no longer return equipment sold by mistake.

Erm... 3 or 4 days ago! :)
I know about that announcement , maybe he managed to convince them or he was lucky but im pretty sure he did get the weapons back!
As i said, you could at least explaine the situation to them , who knows maybe they'll consider giving your equipment back!
Either ways , i wish you good luck!

I'm sorry to read this man, truly. You're a good player and a nice rival, so I hope you'll consider the idea of upping again your equip with water and NPCs. I know it'll be a long trip but since quitting means losing big fun time with your wingmates and friends maybe you can think about this option.

Mate, support is your only way, so just do it and get your stuff back. I know ur p*ssed, but go to them for the help you need.
I really hope to see you again once you do get your stuff back. Also, a player from my old wing got his stuff back after he did the same thing. He told me it was the US support that did the trick for him (he was french), and this guy had his stuff back in a matter of days.
Maybe you could be as lucky. Good bye for now, been ace flying with you ^^

Sure thing you need to try to support my friend... who knows? Loosing you is a big problem for our wing, already too many of us stopped playing :(

More proof that we need little checkboxes next to our gear to prevent it from being sold...until we click it off.
Seriously, who sells Level 10+ gear for tylium? Has anyone in the entire frakking history of BSGO ever sold Level 10+ gear for tylium? Anyone with that high of gear usually has millions of tylium already.
Not being able to "lock" gear from being sold when transfers are sometimes made in the heat of battle has got to be either the lamest oversight the Devs could make or is a secret plot by BP accountants to squeeze more money out of players.

i checked with support, they said no but i understand,it was my fault. It really made me freak out when i realized what i did.gonna take me a few days or weeks to get some funds together.just have to get over the shock, still alittle pissed at the game though. But i am keeping the account up to date.

Really? To sell it already, you have to either click "SELL", or drag it to the "STORE" instead of "LOCKER", where it the asks you, "are you sure you want to sell x for y?"
Now I do feel bad for the OP because he doesn't want to play anymore, but do we need more hand holding features developed?

maverick is right, id rather have those features which make me take longer to sell stuff, than end up selling my equipment (which aint high lvl but still)
besides, if we had to just tick a few things so that they dont get sold, ud only have to do it once to those particular items, it wont make it harder for you to sell the daily scrap junk from cargo

when you want to use a booster thats in your locker you need to put it in your hold to use it right, how hard would it be to only be able to sell stuff that is in your hold, so you revove it from your ship it goes in your locker (as your hold maybe full) so if for some reason you do want to sell it you have to move to your hold then you can sell it, to me that sounds a simple solution to the problem of selling stuff my mistake. :p

For sure, I agree. Also this equipment is expensive, so would be great to get some cubits back for such items!
Aww man, don't go!

Im sorry to hear that and it is always my worst fear.
Then simple fact that BP has a "Do Nothing" attitude with alot that goes on in this game. This is just my advice to the players out there. When i go to manage my ships and stuff, I always take a deep breath and am careful with what i do. Reading these horror stories helps me be careful of making the same mistake. I know players get frustraited and try to hurry through ships changes during battles or if the enemy fleet is imbound on the Op your in and you scrambling , you can make mistakes. But what angers me, is how easy it is to sell it. Why have they not redesigned it where its harder to sell stuff or bring up Are you sure? Are you really shure? messages that would help deter this. I plan on spending some money on this game in the future trying to get my stuff up to level 12 or 15. But the fact they dont help people who make mistakes and poor customer service makes me think twice about that decision.

Honestly, the selling of stuff by accident can happen to anyone and changing the wording from salvage to sell/uninstall is not enough. If this ever happened to me I would quit and make sure support knows you will quit. In the long run, its better to have a paying customer then no customers at all.

What the users need is a buyback feature. Until they have undocked, they should still be able to buy back what they sold, at the same price as what they got when they sold the item(s).

Arf, that's no fun to do such mistakes.... i did myself sold all my cpu's 2 times (lvl 6 though :-) ), drop the mail with those 80 tunning kits, these are sone of the reasons why i decided to never put money in this game !
See you dude, i'll miss your wr. As i started thé game, you were truly my 'nightmare' :-) . Then i managed to béat you in my mk2, and that was a révélation .... i'm invincible !!! ( joke :-) ). No trully that's sad u leave, i had Big fun being blowed by u, and sometimes blowin' you.
PS : anyway i think that putting such amount of money as 200 dollars in a game is thé first mistake, that's ruinning thé balance in game, and with 200 €, i could do lots of usefull and fun things with it.
