I saw this on Scorpia forums and thought it might help us in Aerilon

Alright hello, basically there have a few been questions lately about players who can help new players with the game. I would like to get a list of players who are willing to help new players with everything from the basics of the game, and indvidual ship tactics. Wings that will help would be great.

So, if you are willing to help new players learn the game, please post your In Game Name and Faction, along with what ship you fly the most. I am looking for Colonial as well as cylon players.

Sure, I can help when i'm on.

I'm usually on in the evenings Friday - Sunday.

I cant help much as far as giving them advise for strikes though but I can help them with doing their dailies and getting some resources and possibly setting up a good escort build.

Good luck optimo, i hope this helps new players on your server. I'm already getting a few questions on mine. I do plan to add how to whisper people onto the top. I'm afraid a lot of new players do not know how to whisper... You might want to do the same for yours ^_^

I am hoping some rookies post here because I would LOVE players who are new to introduce themselves but they may not know about the forums. @ some point I want to create a list things to help rookies but I need them to post here. Might have to seek them out in game.

I flew a Halberd exclusively (once I got it at lvl 18) last year. I have been attempting to learn to fly a MKVII since I got it earlier this year.

I am on pretty much every evening and will try to help pilots, on either side, by telling you who you should ask for better answers to your questions. If I happen to answer your question directly, I cannot be held responsible for the results if you choose to take my advice.

Quick tip for Colonial newbies: if you see one member of the 33rd, you better look around because there are at least 4 more nearby.

I have tried to help others anytime I see someone in need without expecting anything in return. Many players will only help if they see something in it for them. This is something I have attempted to change by being an example to others and thanking those I help for the chance to get a deo or two or the chance to get my intercepts done. Finally I find myself in the position to force their hand by becoming a cylon till things change. As the saying goes if you can't respect me then fear me.

Count me in. I fly a MKVII mostly, and think I've been getting pretty good at it. I also have a number of other ships, but let's keep the questions to the MKVII (or strike). I am good at flying a strike, not great, but pretty good I think. I've waxed my fair share of Cylons, and they've waxed me! This is the life of a strike pilot, charge in, die, charge in, die, repeat as necessary.

Just some old cylon fly 99,9% in a liner, have to learn a lot to keep alive so don't worry about old daddy :))
