As i colonial im finding it rather dull right now, the time i play usually the cylons do not even have a mine up lol. they need to work on there recruitment quota....

I tend to play at random times depending on my schedule and there are times when it feels like there are more cylons than colonials. Systems are fairly even and most col systems and mines only have one or two warm bodies around.

Then there is Prime time, lol. Things sure look different after school lets out :) (Sorry running joke in chat)

Suddenly the blue tide starts to rise and washes all but the most determined group of defenders or when the OPs run so low that the cylon zerg rescues to the same OP the col zerg is headed for. Any cylon landing a mine during prime time can count on a steady stream of 1 to 5 high level escorts/strikes/lines to mosey on over to say high and steal it if it's worth it or just destroy it if not.

Even I have a hard time living long during prime time. Simple enough if you go deep and terrorize the less valuable systems or find a good zerg to follow, since the zerg fleets tend to avoid each other you rarely get overwhelmed as the bulk of each sides forces focus on clearing the map before they get scattered or distracted. But that of course gets old quick, so after diving in to one hopeless OP defense or tediously slow zerg gathering most cylons tend to log and return when the blue tide recedes for the night.

A lot of whether or not the game is boring is if you have something to strive for.

When the col fleet is in full effect, there is little you have to fear. Not any real challenge there.

Once you have lvl 10-15 equipment on your pride and joy, nothing left to bust a grind for.

Once your skills are lvl 10, exp is useless.

Of course from a cylon perspective, it can be quite fun trying to avoid the high level gank squads, pop clueless campers preying on noobs, going deep to pop all blue mines while the fleet is busy elsewhere, harass the plat farmers :) good god is that fun, and knowing there will always be PLENTY of cols to pop in almost any system you chose to go to.

So, yeah Scorpia can be boring. The game as a whole can get in a bit of a rut. Some get upset at always being outnumbered, others like you get bored that no one will fight them or run when they see a 20-30 line/escort ball headed for the local OP. Only time I truly get bored is after 2 hours fighting in a dual OP system. OP tug o war just never really ends till some beacons/nukes the OP. Till that happens, you end up in a vicious cycle of boost to fight, pop, repair, boost to fight, Rinse and repeat.

Sure can be fun for a little while, but really starts to get old after a couple of hours. Of course, simple fix is to jump somewhere else while the bulk of both sides hammers it out in one system, the rest are open for the picking.

Not sure what the answer is for you. If you primarily play during the rise of the blue tide when most cylons would rather log than pop instantly at half the spawns, then yeah you're gonna be bored.

sadly the only time i seem to be logging on there litterally is nothing but blue swarming all the pvp. most of the high level strikes take off and run the instant i pop up in dradis range which leaves stupid noobs. i did not sign up to club noobs. :mad:

Log on earlier, like early morning, and about 12-4ish. Thats when a lot of them play and we get pushed back. Like right now at 4 pm there are 15 systems with red mines on the board. Sadly though it seems each one of those is protected by at least one liche. We also have liche wolf packs taking out our mines, and cylons building ops in our systems, or at least trying to.

Its all about the time you play.

Edit: We've also had to throw out a few dozen level 70+ cylons out of noob systems. And the people who complain about us fighting in groups are taking on solo colonials in 1v3+ battles.

Most cylons forget this. 3 faction switches for them, zero for us, and we had it way worse.

Well you could always go to cylon side when faction switch happens (which it will always) cant be bored then plenty of monkeys to kill choose from any colo mine which you want and take it easy.Dont forget the blue tide comes along just do what most of us do just leave OP to die and go into all colo space and take what you desire been playing since beta and oddly enough havent got bored yet (most likely enough i love being the underdog and not a sheep):cool::cool::cool:

Generally the game has become more and more dull day by day anyways. The only reason I get on every now and then is probably for my wing and sometimes just on the weekend to do dailies and help people because I can I guess.

Sure there are sometimes your usual fleet battle or organized OP busting fleets but that tends to get dull easily.

Sometimes I would jump into a system it's either a ghost town or with some PVPs, typically in an escort or line.
