Nick,

I want to give some feedback on the MOD team, both in game Mods and forum mods.

It's my opinion that they need a bit of a refresher course.

I have just had a post deleted because I gently chided a particular MOD and asked him to show consistency and impartiallity because I percieved he was focusing heavily on two long standing community members with no real reason.

I also recall an ingame Mod threatening players with a Ban if they didn't stop shooting him so he could take a screen shot. This was in the middle of the excitement of the first night carriers became available on Kobol and said players were having a whale of a time. I pointed out then that he was a representative of the dev team and regardless of wether he could Ban someone, throwing that threat out in that situation was out of Order. You yourself were there and I believe you took the Mod asside for a chat.

Now I find that posts are being deleted, and Mods are threatening infractions on posts that DO NOT break any rules, purely because some players are expressing a disagreement with other players suggestions.
I find that this is not consistent, and not impartial, given that there are much worse culprits that ARE breaking the rules and are not being moderated in such an extreme fashion. (One player posted the worst C word and more but was not moderated)

Having my post deleted is nearing the last straw for me. I take it that my feedback and bug reporting and support of new players AND the GOOD things that the DEVs achieve is no longer wanted?

If you want to complain/ give feedback about any particular mod (or the team in general), then support is the way to do it, not via open posts on the forums.

If there are any posts on the forums that are unmoderated- it's simply because they were missed by the mod team, not because there is bias involved.
There are no favourites or sides on the mod team, and everyone on the forum is treated equally.

On that note, thread closed.
