Game Client



For some newer players the game screen may take a while to get the hang of. This should help you along. This screen shot depicts all the on-screen icons which will be followed by the description of the functions in numerical order.

1. Character Info Icon:

Above the icon you will see your in-game name & the level of your account. Followed by the characters avatar then your Hit Point Counter in Red. Below the HP Counter your Power Counter bar is shown in Blue. This will keep you informed of your current health and status.

This Icon will also be seen at the top middle of your game screen when targeting another PvE or player showing their status & information. If you right click on their Avatar some tabs will appear.

- Info: This will open another pop-up showing aspects such as Name, Rank, Level, Wing, wing position, ship name, and class.

- Invite: Invites selected user into a squad. Only leader of the squad may do this.
- Guild Invite: Invites the selected user to join your Wing.
- Friend Invitation: Invites selected user to become friends for easier contact.
- Follow: Follows the selected user.


2. System Name & Outpost Progress:

- The system name as shown above in this case is 242 Appolid. This should need no explanation.

- Outpost Progress is determined by how much activity your faction has made in this system. From bashing PvE characters to mining planetoids and smaller asteroids. Once the system has progressed to greater than 100.9% an outpost will appear where you may buy sell and reconfigure your ships. This number may deteriorate over time if operations cease inside the system. Your O.P. will then disappear.


3. Camera Angles & Zoom:

- To zoom in or out from your ship these icons may be used aside from your key bindings.

Camera Angles:

- The 1st icon is the "Cockpit Mode". Just a stationary mode with sight limited to straight ahead.
- The 2nd icon, "Free Mode", enables you to full rotate your camera around your ship to any angle by holding the left mouse button dragging it around the screen.
- The 3rd icon is the "Follow mode". This will keep the camera behind your ship from a distance mo matter which way you turn.
- Finally the 4th icon is your "Follow Target Mode". No matter where the target is in reference to your position the camera will remained looked onto him.

5. Items & Take All Tab:

Any items gained from mining, loots in salvage, or the killing of other ships, (players or PvE). will show up inside of this box. You may hover over the item to see how much is there or the items name. You may click on each item to take them individually, or click on the "Take All" tab at the bottom. By holding your left mouse button on the tab label "ITEMS" you may drag this box out of your way to any spot on the screen.

*Reminder: If you choose not to grab the items as they accumulate you may run a risk of losing them in the event you get destroyed.


6. Ship Weapons Management & Abilities Bar:

- Weapons: Around and above the silhouette of your ship you will notice icons showing your currently loaded cannons, missile launchers, point defense, etc.. By left clicking on each one of these you can manage which guns are firing at the target turning them on or off. Where as right clicking them will bring up available ammunition you have stored in your ships hold.

- Abilities & Computer components: Below you will notice a bar with many slots. Using this you may left click to activate your components and computer items. Currently seen loaded in the picture above is my "Auto Pilot" & Asteroid Mining Scanner".


7. News Feed & Experience Bar:

At the very bottom of the game screen is the "News Feed". This will give you a quick heads up as to where all the fighting is currently happening, outposts being attacked, retreats, and newly established OP's.

The Experience bar will depict your progression into your next level at a glance, or if you hold the cursor over the bar a pop-up showing your total Exp and the amount needed for the next level will appear.

8. DRADIS Cluster:

1. Sector Navigation: This will pull up the star system FTL map. From here you may check other sectors progresses, all OP positions, or jump into the next sector within FTL range.

2. Tylium Fuel Gauge: Tylium is used as fuel when you are using the booster on your ship for top speeds. It can also be used as currency for buying items & ships in the OP store front.

3. Dradis: This is radar of sorts. It will show all incoming craft both friendly and non friendly. You can interact with this by clicking the incoming ship on the dradis itself.

4. Throttle: By moving this slide bar up and down by dragging your left mouse button you may select certain speeds manually.

5. Movement functions:
- A. Follow friendly target
- B. Match target speed
- C. Boost

6. Target enemy: Will target the closest enemy within your Dradis range.

7. Cancel Target: Cancels current target.

8. Target Friendly: Targets closest friendly within your Dradis range.

9. In-flight Resupply: Right from here you may purchase ammunition, Fleet chat coms, boosters and many other goodies to carry on in your fight without visiting an OP.

10. Dradis System Map:By opening this map you will be able to see everything within your Dradis range, and much more. You will be able to see and target ALL within your Dradis range, friendlies everywhere in your system, friendly and enemy OP's as well.
