View Full Version : Launch Game Button still inactive
I completed the survey a few days ago and have been checking back with the page a few times since then and still the Launch Game Button is still inactive. I have even installed the Unity Web Player twice and still nothing. How much longer before this is fixed and I can play please? I am based in Australia. Cheers.
dude, go through the forum and you'll find out.
game isn't available yet, they are picking the beta testers so the button will be inactive at least until next week, if you get picked as a beta tester, or for quite a long time until the game goes public beta or official.
Yep. Like Harry said, the game still isn't available. They're going through beta tester selection at the moment. They should be letting people know next week. Just keep in mind that during beta, you won't be seeing a finished product. The game -will- be buggy. The point of a beta is to find and correct these problems so there probably won't be a ton of playing at first while they hunt down major issues across different platforms.
Wow it is kinda unbelievable that there are threads about this. Ppl really should read the other threads titles carefully.
Maybe someone can close these threads for good. I think we need more mods on this forum xD
Yes sadly there are still new threads created with question over and over again about the frakkin Lauch Game Button. Unfortunately this represents our BSG community and it's not something to proud of. People please, wanna ask something? Search the forum first. If that's THE FIRST question you have it means probably someone else had the same problem so the answer is already somewhere here.
there is an interview on facebook with the CTO of BSGO he says the game should be ready for the public at the end of the year im guessing if everythings goes to plan that is

That's a pretty short beta cycle. I wonder how many people they're planning on selecting for Beta versus how many programmers they've got. If they believe this to be a realistic plan, then the game must be pretty stable coming out of Alpha. This bodes well.
that actually is a good news. everyone who won't be picked to beta test will now knows when to expect the game and beta and alpha testers will actually get a pretty stable version so not so many bugs. maybe they'll be able to actually enjoy some gaming without errors :D
Those who are picked will find out soon enough.
